It will be an impressive result, but Ndou is almost 40 and virtually no one thinks that he is going to win. Kell will probably get more recognition if he defeats a live opponent who most people rank in the top 15/20 of the division, and hopefully that type of bout will be next if (when) Kell gets past Ndou.

Older, smaller with no ambition now as it's all about the money.
This is a joke of a match that in my opinion is taking the P out of the paying public.

Damned if you do damned if you dont I suppose.
If he stops N'Dou people will say that he has stopped an old man that is towards the end of a hard career. If he doesnt then I suppose people will say it was to be expected.

N'Dou had only lost to good boxers, so if Kell wins its certainly a step in the right direction for him.

N'Dou is pushing 40. Brook should be scoring a TKO over him!

Saul Alvarez couldn't put Lovemore away so Kell would really make a statement.

Thing is in UK the refs will stop a fight alot sooner than in USA or Mexico.
It wouldn't surprise me if Kell stops him late on, with Lovemore quite happily keeping his gloves up and not throwing back.

Its the best match up of his career so far, alot better than Warrens recent ones for Brook

Against?
Decent fighter and on fringes of world class in his pomp but that was a 5-10 years ago
A good win would make a statement, but to justify the hype he needs a win over a Gomez, Jones etc in the next 12 months

N'dou is well past his best, and at his best he was limited. He's a durable opponent, but even if Kell looks great against him, it will mean little on the world stage at this stage of Lovemores career.

Can't understand the negativity in this thread, it's a step up and he's fighting someone recognised on the World scene. It's a good start to the Brook-Hearn partnership IMO
ALL HAIL THE SPECIAL ONE!!

I agree, but with just signing for a new stable, there not going to put him straight in with a Gomez or Jones, and compared to what Frank has dished him up, this is a semi - reasonable opponent for Kell to face, and certainly a step in the right direction.

Anyone else you can suggest for Kell to box, Captain?
Come on mate, you know you're dying to say it!

Agree with that, as I said he's a decent test but Brook and everyone else consider him (Brook) more than a "decent fighter" so after this he must step up
First thing's first though, he has to beat N'dou in style - wide on points while sharpening his tools and stamina or an impressive TKO
I think it will be the latter around the 9th/10th
PS Dan - I think he should box Andre Berto, then Pacquiao, then Jennings for all the potatoes :)

I think we should be more positive about this fight. Its a step up and good experiance for Kell. OK Ndou is past his best but I think he will still manage to give Kell a good fight.

I'll lose a few quid as I've backed him to win a UD.
He'd also be the first person to stop him, bunch of moaning twats.

Only 17 months ago he was unlucky to only get a draw against the current European champion (from your favourite city) and 2011 world title challenger.

He was well past his best 17 months ago, that's a long time ago at his age.
He's already started a new career this fight is all about the money.
People need to get real and tell it how it is, this is an easy touch timing wise.
