i criticise him terrible on here, but he's a brit & repping & i'll be cheering him on & i hope we all are :!:

& hopefully he stop's showing hostility & shows abit of humbleness & class he's worked hard for it & should take the pressure of himself & give it his all, he will be respected alot more imo.

is anyone else getting patriotic??

Yes mate :TU:

I think he has distanced himself with some of his behaviour, like the stupid app and all that. Just needs something like the simple poppy gesture made vs Valuev and he'll be back in our hearts..

For all of his outrageous antics for some reason only one thing he said ever troubed me. After the John Ruiz fight the interviewer asked Haye about his tactic of hitting Ruiz behind the head (rabbit punching) and he replied with something along the lines of, "well it was a bit naughty, but you have to try and get every advantage...etc".

Sorry, but that shit is dangerous. Fighters in the past have suffered permanent injury or even death from consistent rabbit punching. So he fell in my estimation at that point. All the other stuff, don't really care

Same, I am not the patriotic type but I do like him, as a fighter and feel he gets a lot of stick here because some people confuse what he says and wears, start to dislike him and then believe the guy can't fight, as wishful thinking, on their part wants him to get beat.

I don't believe that and tend to look through all of that, and look at the core, can the guy fight? Yes, he can and he can do it very well, better than a lot of posters here give him credit for.

I think he will win as he is a better, tougher (mentally) fighter than Wlad. Of course he could lose, there's always that chance and there is no shame in that. The worst thing would be if the fight was stopped on a cut or some kind on injury.

I'll second that :TU:
