Sickening stoppage. Danny was in great shape and it was a good fight and Danny was coming on strong. As soon as Danny started to punish the German the ref jumped in.

I spoke to him at the airport and he said he might just jack it all in.

Bullsh!t. Every time he took a solid punch, Danny's legs wobbled. The guy has no balance left. So what if he was in shape, doesn't get his punch resistance back. The round before this he was holding on to the ropes to keep himself up. One 20 second clip doesn't show anything and is the sound even a commentary of the fight?
He got hurt in about four rounds and didn't win a round. Who wants to see Danny like that? He beat Tyson but now gets treated like any old journeyman getting a payday.

danny looked in better shape, but his output was low and he had definately lost every round up to that point

I think I do Slap. A good ref knows who he has with him in the ring and this ref may well have known Danny Williams, Danny was swinging into his man but when the Germany started hitting back he knocked Danny's head back heavy once a few times an decided enough. Looks very harsh yes, but if its an honest ref then I understand and maybe would do the same myself.

Bad stoppage that. Nothing suprises you when Danny is fighting.

Im not for one second saying your wrong as ive not seen the whole fight , but its contrary to what id read previously , i was lead to believe that williams was winning the bout before the stoppage

Danny is a legend and was robbed
