Good stuff Ian.

Read some tweets and everyone saying it's really slinging it down over there today.

That's a pity as its blue skys, scorching temp and a real carnival mood for this event back over here in blighty !

Nice one Ian, keep us posted mate.

Can't be f****ing cancelled surely, electrical stuff can be covered easily enough, main thing being ring is covered. Reminds me of Bruno/Lewis - rain all day and all night, and it was touch and go until about an hour before the fight.

Surely they've made plans for this happening.

Buncey was ranting on about it. I daren't say it outloud at Stansted before boarding this Bremen flight though. There's a few geezers in here!!

It must have a canopy, at least it does in pic that Ian posted in his postcard.

Sky Sports News have just done a piece from ringside and it didn't seem bad at all. I missed the intro, but they certainly weren't talking as if there was a risk of cancellation. I guess it could change if the weather gets really bad, but I think it might have been Buncey scaremongering more than anything.

Dave darts has just tweeted that the ring and most fans will be fine, its the VIPs that will bear the brunt of any weather.

:witzend: it doesn't make much sense holding it in an arena that 'could' adversley be that badly affected that it has to be cancelled!

It wont be cancelled.

They sure cant hold a 55,000 seat sporting event without a contingency plan for rain.

Ze Germans are state of ze art with organisations.

All the electrical cable will be covered so can't see this being cancelled, just hype as usual.

Just spoken to members of the team and the reports are that there are no problems with the venue or the show...no worries, as previously said, the Germans are kings of organisation, all shall be well

The rain is heavy and fine, the electrics are covered, I am guessing the worst that can happen is that the live show would get delayed but in a million years I cannot see that happening, these guys know what they are doing.

Still raining there, lots of build up on RTL Germany, interviews with past champions in the stadium ( pissing down ) seem to be hyping DH as another Mike Tyson.
Lots of preview shows scheduled, never seen such a build up on German TV - great stuff.

Still going out to catch it on big screen at the pub later.
