I can't even remember the fight now as it was pretty forgettable but i think you could have given him rds 3,8,9 and 12. Wlad was hardly dominating the fight and missing alot too but i guess his better activity in each rd was the difference.

I gave him 2 including the point deduction round. 10-2 overall. Outclassed.

Outworked maybe but not outclassed, if you land 10 punches on your opponent and get hit 5 times then your going to win the round on most scorecards. At no point was Haye in any real trouble but Wlad was definately hurt a bit in the 3rd and definately in the 12th.

Haye won 3 or 4 rounds for me, he was dissapointing but considering most of the 'experts' were predicting i felt he did ok.

I didn't think that Wlad was hurt in the third. He was definitely buzzed in the 12th but I thought he looked in control in almost every other round.

For me, outworked is an understatement. I think there was quite a big gulf between those two, and I got the impression Wlad was cruising and could have moved up a gear or two if need be. For large parts of the rounds Haye seemed to do no work at all and I don't think that's being outworked - it's doing nothing. Yes Wlad got hurt in the 12th but one desperation punch when a ko is needed asap doesnt make up for 11 rounds of being dictated.

Dont often write on here.....always read what you all say....but lets have it right Haye lost it big style...watched in packed casino AND just got home and watched again all on me own...maybe shared 2 rounds but lost all others fighting scared....he never ever really wanted to stay in the pocket and exchange with Wlad....he should man up and admit he lost to the better man....keep up the writing chaps....best boxing site on the net...

cheers

I gave him a share or the 3rd and the 12th

I was feeling generous.

Yep, pretty similar - gave Haye the third and had him sharing the 12th and one other round (can't remember which in the cold light of day but it was 8th or the 9th).

I had him winning the 3rd, 8th, 12th and you could argue he won another of the earlier rounds. Sure Haye didn't do much but Wlad in many rounds didn't do anything at all except come forward and miss jabs. Quite a few uneventful rounds in which one could choose between Haye making Wlad miss and at least trying for some power shots and landing a few, to Wlad coming forward missing 9/10 jabs and not landing any power shots. To be clear I had Wlad a clear winner, but I scoring by rounds it was a closer fight than many seem to think here. If anything there should have been several even rounds.

That's a remarkable interpretation of the fight - Vlad's connection percentage with the jab was certainly better than that and he landed at least as many right-hands as Haye. In fact, Haye impressed me with the way he took them.

I said in many rounds that was what happened. Yes, overall Wlad landed more jabs and that is what won him the fight. I also think in terms of total real power shots they were about even. But Klitschko was not consistenly effective. It was a case of who was worse not who was better.

Fair enough, just felt that particular quote was not representative of the overall fight as I do feel that he controlled the fight with his jab - the frustration was that he hasn't got the tools to capitalise on it further other than throwing the straight right. I thought he might throw more hooks after his recent success with that shot, but it wasn't to be.
