Can anyone think of any other toe/foot related puns. Lets see how creative we can get

Yes this thread is beyond childish, but I just lost my biggest ever bet so I need light relief

Please tell me it wasn't just me who was cringeing during that post-fight interview? When I think about what the likes of Eubank and Benn would go through in the ring, to then hear a heavyweight fighting for the world title saying "my toe was in agony" and then unveiling it to camera was just excrutiating to watch. Lennox's reaction summed it up perfectly.
Now here's the thing, even if Haye is given the benefit of the doubt and we accept it inhibited his performance to a significant degree, i think the post-fight interview was a disaster, as no-one wants to hear a guy who's just fought for the heavyweight title, earned 10 million quid and failed to live up to his pre-fight boasts, come out with something like that.
He did 12 rounds with VK and took some good shots in the process and that's definitely worthy of respect, but he should have just taken the defeat like a man in the interview and not sounded like a schoolboy talking to his mum - the same people that had been cheering him on during the fight were just laughing at him... would have loved to know what the likes of Hagler and La Motta made of it.

In David Haye's defence (and I am probably going to get utterly slaughtered for it) he was struggling to plant his feet and get inside and really hurt Wladimir K which was causing him to leap inside too much and all that, but I too do not want to hear excuses as well, I remember seeing an interview with Carl Froch where he has admitted going into fights with a burst eardum and a broken rib from sparing and was still winning, but Haye showed a great chin so you have to give him kudos for that but he was just totally outclassed by a guy who is a future of hall famer and a great technician, yes we have flayed both Wladimir and Vitali K for being boring and all that, but they use what they have both physically and in between the ears and do it better than anyone else, if it is dull in some peoples eye, than far enough, but it gets them the wins regardless.

Maybe his toe was injured, and when things are not going your way and you start getting frustrated. These niggles become extremely painful. If anything its proof that Haye lost the mental game during the fight. Had he been in the fight, he wouldnt have "felt" it.

But talking seriously for a second. Atleast they can film a new series of this now.

I remember Eubank biting off a big piecE of his tongue from a benn punch.

HAYE SOUNDED LIKE A FOOL.

Ouch! Looks painful but if it was that bad should have pulled out, not bitched about being injured after the event... especially as he went 12 rounds with it after giving it the big verbal build up where he banged on about making 'this big robot malfunction in the ring'. Now that's lame!

Legit excuse. He couldn't plant the right foot so just showed a defensive masterclass instead, making Wlad look stupid, and kept going for the KO til the end. Great performance.
