still gave a Klitschko the toughest test either has had for a while. He was elusive and fast, and the shot he landed in the 12th showed that with a smarter gameplan he had the tools to cause Wlad some problems, im not saying he would have won with different tactics, but a big punch can be a gamechanger in HW boxing and he didn't get inside to land them. Of course a lot of that was to do with the efficiency of Wlads jab.
The better man won by a long chalk, and it's difficult because not only is it hard to see where Haye can go from here, other than fighting people levels way below the Klits who are pretty much the only game in town as far as the heavyweight scene goes, but where do the Klitschkos go now the most sellable fight is done?
Obviously they can fill German stadiums for them to knock out some more Russian/Polish bums or take the piss out of Dereck Chisora, but lets be honest, what would boxing fans rather see? A Vitali vs Haye grudge match with Haye looking for redemption and Vitali looking to finish the job his brother started, or more meaningless Heavyweight contests.
A Vitali vs Haye fight would sell - both in tickets and on TV
is there another HW outside of the brothers that beats Haye?
Mike Perez as a tune up could be fun...
