IMO chisora would have had bigger problems and would have got knocked out.

I think Del Boy would have had a better go. More of a natural heavyweight and his toes are ok.

Derek Chisora still has to get past Tyson Fury first before we can entertain thoughts of fighting him fighting Wladimir K gentlemen, plus David Price as well should he defeat Fury.

Chisora or Fury would be ko by Wlad!

Chisora doesn't punch as hard as Haye but he's much stronger physically. He's also a better come forward boxer than Haye. Haye can dart in and out but can't apply consistent pressure - even with healthy toes. I think Chisora will be content to stay in the pocket with Wlad and slip and counter from there, rather than launch raids from the outside. Chisora is also a high volume puncher, and he needs to be, because Klitschko is clearly not as chinny as many, including me thought.

Chisora would get knocked out because he wouldn't be on his bike like Haye had to be.

Sure, he has to get past Fury, which is no given, but I think if he does that he should go straight to the fight with Wladimir, because that's a fight that was signed and it was Wlad who pulled out twice. If Wlad is the gentleman he says he is, he will give Chisora the fight next.

I can see the argument but I doubt it will happen as I could see Frank Maloney who is Price's promoter arguing for Chisora to be stripped.

True - but I can't see Chisora being too bothered about being stripped if he has a world title fight with Klitschko lined up.

It's a shame Chisora doesn't have a bit more power, because he's a very well-rounded swarmer.

Chisora, fwiw, is also a braver, more durable fighter than Haye.

Ahhh, Haye was looking for the big-right - that was his only chance. He looked lazy mainly because Wlad fell back everytime Haye threw a right. As bad as Haye looked, Wlad making a mistake and Haye connecting with a right was his only play. Haye's getting a ridiculous amount of crap here.

Ok, we're all disappointed with Haye's performance last night, but please let's not lose all sense of reality.

Derek Chisora is a 14 fight novice with a fairly average amateur background (ABA winner granted, but when the likes of Price weren't entered). This is a guy whose best win is against Sam Sexton, let's say it again for perspective, Sam Sexton and has 9 knockouts.

Chisora is a lot slower than Haye, has a reach that is 4 inches less than Haye, is 1 1/2 inches shorter than haye, has a lot less power than Haye, has way less big fight experience than Haye but is expected to give Wlad more of a fight than Haye???
Please explain on what level of reality this happens.

Wlad is interested in a fight with a Brit for 1 reason and 1 reason alone. We put our hands in our pockets and support our guys. This means more money in wlad's pocket. Simple as that.

Remember how disappointing a 14 fight novice looked last time we watched him and he was an olympic gold medalist to boot
A 14 fight novice going in with Wlad would last as long as Wlad wanted it to.

True - but I can't see Chisora being too bothered about being stripped if he has a world title fight with Klitschko lined up.

As Chisora simply sees one of the most predigious awards in boxing the Lonsdale Challenge belt as a means to an end going in with Wladimir K who will ulitmately massacre him for a good pay day against a man who has had more world title fights and rounds in world titles fight than Chisora has had in his whole career to date, and yes I would be one of those who would watch in Box Office, just to see how long Wladimir K will take Chisora before he gets bored and flattens him.

Chisora has done nothing to suggest that he would have more success against Wlad. Given Haye's relative non-performance it's easy to say that other challengers would give it a better go, but I can't really see it. For some reason people still act like Klitschko's opponents intentionally give shit performances, when in reality they are simply unable to mount anything significant because they are outgunned.
