Who rembers Neil Dickinson the London aba champion in 1987 was he any good
He reached the ABA quarter-finals in Gloucester that year and lost to Liverpool's John Silitoe in two rounds, the eventual ABA bantamweight champion. He was tall and gangling for bantam, lacking in strength and power, but threw lots of punches and certainly had a go. I believe he was up at lightweight afterwards so he must have been killing himself to make bantamweight.
