A couple of minutes after the interview Dean got the call that the fight was off so about 10 minutes with now forever live on the cuttingroom floor. But I managed to salvage a little.

How funny is this video ? Byrne is going to stalk Nasser Al Harbi and break him down, that is so funny, Al Harbi is much bigger and stronger and has fought and beat middleweights in the past and also beat an undefeated fighter who weighed in at 12 st 10 Ilbs, where he controlled the action and took the centre of the ring, Byrne has sparred Mitchell and Burns both below Lightweight normally, Classic ! Apparantly he has been getting knocked about by Matty Hall who is more like Al Harbi in size and Matty Hall is not even in training for a fight, he calls himself "Irish Lightning" yet Al Harbi is much faster then him by a mile, Bigger, Stronger, more skilled as better defence and now hitting harder every day , the only thing Byrne had in his favour is he was given more time to prepare for this fight 6 weeks he said, maybe more, Al Harbi was only given 3.5 weeks to make 10.7, yet he stil took it thats how confident he is, now it will be put on later, it will be even easier for Al Harbi, could be a very hard night for Byrne. Byrne and his team are living in self denial, but deep inside they know they have made a big mistake. Al Harbi has in contrast been sparring Kel Brook for 3 weeks, a Haymaker fighter and some GB guys along with 2 Amatuer Heavyweights. When the fight is rearranged he will be back in Sheffield sparring Kel again, plus maybe Michael Jennings. Byrne is a really nice lad and done well and I hope he has a great career in the future, but on the night Al Harbi will be the predator and Byrne the Pray.

Byrne has had more cancelled fights than he has had fights.

Funny that you say you arent 'Boxen' even though EVERY post you have had on BoxRec is about Al Harbi like Boxen (and his multiple aliases) on ESB, every post you have made on BoxRec is in the same confrontational style that Boxen had, threatening to "visit" anyone that disagreed with you, like Boxen did. So forgive me if I have a hunch that you are Boxen.

As to my involvement "in all this stupidness". My involvement is to have had the audacity to interview Dean Byrne about his upcoming fight with Al Harbi. You sir, have singlehandily made a complete arsehole of the young fella and should be ashamed of yourself. Anyone that cares to have a look through the threads linked above will see that.

Should be good fight 50/50 on paper anyway

Also rather than travell to visit slappy why not wait till he falls asleep and haunt his dreams

it would be a good fight and it was the fight I was most looking forward to on the 'North v South' bill. But Boxen AKA Safeerah was basically going around threatening to have the Burger Bar Crew go round and shoot anyone that didnt think Al Harbi would KO Deano in 1.

Good match up Byrne V Harbi what a shame it is off, Byrne has the experience having fought in Australia and America under Freddie roach, must of learned something from Pacman and the other champions from wild card, seen him spar, but no footage of him fighting, anybody seen some, there must be some somewhere ? looks to have a nice American style, but does not look fast and a bit flat footed, heard he is tough though, he would be if he has sparred in the wild card, Al Harbi much younger, less experience, but looks very fast from what I have seen on you tube, with excellent movement and skills, should be a good match when it happens, but for me Al Harbi, in a good match, maybe late stoppage, too fast and big maybe, but both could go on to do well.
