Good read. Love Bomber's intensity and anyone who appreciates how good a good Bowe was is ok with me

Yes. Good interview.
Especially liked the bit where it highlighted Bellew didn't dislike Cleverly just because he was Welsh ... Umm? Why would we think that?? Its like Cleverly saying he dislikes Bellew - but not because he's a scouser ... Would there be a reason to dislike somebody just because they are from Liverpool ... or even Wales?
Unless ...

How can he say he has better sparring than Ovill? Ovill has been sparring the WBO world champion
He also said he was offered a once in a life time chance at fighting for the world title against Cleverly and then goes on to say they will meet in 2012? Surely that is more than once

Good read though

Good read, cheers. I like Bellew, I think it's the raw passion he has when talking about boxing, he really WANTS it. Nick Cotton though

gotta love Tony
can anyone else remember the time maybe a year ago or so, when Bomber was accused of being too diplomatic for his own good?

8)
I like the forthright speak-me-fookin-mind bomber even better

That comment came out of nowhere: I'm not one of these over-patriotic hacks (like some of my colleagues) who mention Wales and being Welsh and "what do you think of us lot over here in the corner on the way to Ireland?"....I promise :)
Ta for the feedback, interviewing Wayne McCullough next week, so any Qs gratefully received

Q1. Does he think that if he stayed in Britain(or Ireland) he would have achieved as much as what he did over in the USA?
In regard of opportunities for so long in his career and improvements to his skill set picked up over there.
Q2. Does he think the trainer makes the fighter - or - fighter makes the trainer.
This could open up possibilities in regard to Freddie Roach - with a fighter making the trainer answer

Bit late with BN today - but nice interview with Tony Bellew in there.
Paints a better picture of him I thought ... None of the chavvy throat-slitting, you dirty-rat type thing.
Just shows him relaxed with his beautiful family.
Good stuff.

I do think Bellew is a chav though :-)
A nice chav, but a chav!
