Would any incarnation of Tyson have beaten either Klit?

I always find it best to split Tysons career into three differant sections
1) The up and comer- The man who destroyed the lost generation before losing to Buster
2) The comeback- the man who beat Bruno and Seldon, before coming up against Evan Fields
3) The shot parody of his former self that Lennox beat
Now for the last 7 years the Klits have dominated boxing, and to be fair it looks as though they will until the day they retire. They are going to the hall of fame and we are definately living in their era.
Would aany version of Iron mike have beaten either brother? And if so which one and which brother?

The Up and Comer Tyson would have beaten Wlad imo via. early rounds stoppage. It's difficult seeing Vitali getting beaten by any incarnation of Tyson because we have never seen any of his weaknesses exposed by a smaller man. He was ahead on the scorecards against both Lewis and Byrd when he lost those fights, although Lewis is the only man whom has been competitive with him. Lewis was not in prime condition for that one, but Vitali took the fight on short notice and it was a very close fight while it lasted, and for me was the last great heavyweight fight.

Prime Tyson would have topped Wladimir inside three rounds and stopped Vitali outpoint or score a late spoppage.
The comback Tyson I'm not sure about.
The shot parody would lose to both.

1 and 2 beat Wlad
3 loses to Wlad
1 beats Vitali
2 is a 50/50 vs Vitali
3 loses to Vitali

No to all 3. They use there size and power too well. Tyson was too small for me

Wladimir Klitchsko is so tailor made for Tyson it is unreal.... he does the non-verbal contract when it comes to holding with all his opponents, let alone the fastest and hardest hitting heavyweight.
Vitali might have tested Tyson someone, but I think his lack of speed and variety would have meant Tyson finding a way inside comfortably enough.

Version 1 of Tyson even the 1991 one whose skills and defence had eroded would have annihalated the brothers. The 1991 Tyson showed incredible will to win and pluck in 19 rounds against a 6ft 4 230-235 lb dangerman like ruddock who hit faster and harder than either Klitchko and perhaps had a better chin too at that stage of his career despite his numerous knockdowns.
Version 2 was for all intents and purposes a sad hollow shell even though I still think he was cheated in both fights with Holyfield. The headbutt and Tysons cut totally swung the first fight Holyfields way and it had been dead even till that point.. The second fight I dont buy Tyson quit I think he had the taking of Holyfield if there were no headbutts. This Tyson and im talking the one right up until the Golota win would have given the brothers a hard hard fight for 4-5 rounds and than have been taken apart and quit in 7--8 rounds.
The third version forget it that wasnt even 20% of Tyson

It was superb, but so was Williams Tyson to be fair, that was after klitchko lewis, was it ?

First version of Tyson would have stopped Wlad early and beat Vitali on points.
Second version of Tyson would have stopped Wlad mid to late rounds and would have been a 50/50 against Vitali but leaning towards Mike.
Third version would have lost to both by stoppage.

Maybe I should rephrase that to last great heavyweight title fight.

Tyson in point 1 may have intimdated Wlad enough to beat him, but Tyson in 2 or 3 no chance. The air of menace had started to go and Wlad would jab him silly.
Tyson of any incarnation would never beat Vitali. He's one mean mofo who would never be intimidated by Tyson. Vitali who is 6"7 fights brilliantly at long range and the 5"11 Tyson would get nowhere near his chin. And if he did land, Vitali's chin would take it. Vitali would administer a slow, painful beating with Tyson getting more and more frustrated. Tyson would either get stopped late or get himself DQ'd. Either way he loses.

Prime Tyson would definitely have beaten Wlad, and almost definitely have beaten Vitali.

Tyson's prime was a very, very small window but I'd take this version to beat most heavys, even the very good ones.

Tyson circa 86-88 blasts them both out. not because of his power, but his is ability to move inside, at speed while punching in combination.
Tyson circa 96 no longer has the head movement, and much more reliant on single power punches, whilst it may work on Wlad. Can't see Vitali being so easy to beat, primarily on his ability to hold a decent shot and is busy.
The last incarnation of Tyson, well if Kevin McBride and Danny Williams beat him and stop him.......

Peak Tyson KOs Wladimir & outpoints Vitali in a close fight.
Anything less than a peak Tyson loses to both Wladimir & Vitali; probably gets KOd by both as Tyson didn't seem to last out in tough fights he was losing.

What about the Wlad that lost to Sanders and Brewster? How does the Tyson from Bruno II do there?

Now that's a good question.

Thinking about it, it's highly probable that that version of Tyson, although past his prime, probably had enough left in his locker to spark out that version of Wladimir.

Nothing in Tyson's record suggests he would be either brother. Even peak Tyson was mainly fighting no-hopers and B grade heavies. Today's Wlad would jab him to a pul and Vitali would break him down with heavy short punches every time he tried to close the gap. Tyson never beat a top fighter.

And those top class fighters that Wladimir and Vitali (except Lewis) have faced are????? Give me a 1988 version of Larry Holmes over David Haye any day of the week. Hell, give me the 1995 version who ran Oliver McCall to a close decision.
