What Were Your Most Embarrassing Haircuts?

First was my curly kid cut.

In the late 80's, I thought I was a member of De La Soul, so I grew my hair upwards and shaved the back and sides quite short.
In the Mid-90's, after years of hating my curls, I did the unthinkable and got my hair chemicaly straightened with Afro-Straightener and got the full Paul Weller job.
I still have a scar from where the straightener burnt my head. :(
Lately I've given up and just can't be arsed to get my haircut and now have too many curls, with no style, that is turning into a mullet.
Anybody else had any hair crimes?

My only advice is never cut your own hair! I've done this a few times in the past to save money when I was skint. A haircut with a pair of blunt scissors is never a good look.
P.S. Is that a pictureof you Mr Moon? I thought it was Shirley Temple

When I was at University I decided to sport a great big blonde mohician aller Kevin Pietersen straight down the middle that came from the bottle and the scary thing was I decided to do it when I was stone cold sober, so I spent a fair part of my second year at University walking around with a great big blonde stripe down the middle of my hair, my dad who I saw the next day could not believe what done to my hair and did not tell my mum for two weeks when I came home for a visit and I got a bit stick from my mates for sporting it. But I kept it regardless.

I had at high school what we call a 'cockney skinhead' , basically it was a long fringe and a long bit at the back, with the rest skinheaded off. I proudly walked into school and got suspended for a week.
My other stunner was a bleached flat top, that went wrong. So i ended up with purple hair for a while

I had a complex about Salvador Sanchez when I was about 17/18. I'd read about him in KO magazine and cut out a photo and got my hair done in a bubble perm (1988/1989). Bad move, didn't suit.

Nice one Foxy. Only problem is, that my hair looks like that now.

You've done well to keep your hair, I've been a shaven raver for nearly 20 years. You still coming to Donny for the Hall v Mcdonnell?

Yes mate, Frank Maloney asked me to cover the show for his web-site, so hopefully he'll remember that in September.

Bubble perms were possibly the worst fashion ever, there could of been only a handful of people in history that could carry it off

I once cut my hair myself in the dark ???!!!! I started cutting the sides, doing one side, then the other, except one side was shorter than the other, so then I had to trim a bit more, then I went too far and so had to trim the other side.....and so on.
Cue the morning, and I get up to witness the horror that is my hair. I've basically scalped myself from the ear up to the crown on both sides, leaving the top untouched. I looked a bit like some sort of forest dwelling protestor.
I had to go the school like that, and one of my class mates pissed himself laughing as soon as I walked into class, as did everyone else shortly after. He coined the nickname 'mohican joe'
It tooks about six weeks before my hair grew back properly, unfortunately the nickname stuck for about a year.

I'd got (and still have) a monobrow; when I was about 13 I set about rectifying it with horrifying results. I cut away the brows both from above and below and tackled the middle. When I was done I looked like Judy Garland; I couldn't tell people what I had done and said that I had used some strong shampoo and my eyebrows had fallen out
It took a long time for them to grow back anything like.
What an arse

I tell you what Foxy, we're a right bunch of funny looking buggers on this forum. There's no Brad Pitts on here mate.
