Can Larry holmes would had won against the ali in 1978. And can Ken Norton would had revenged the 2 pryor loses? I guess ali was ready to be taken by either Norton or Holmes by 15 round decision or even tko in 13 or 14 rounds

Ali would've certainly lost to both . . hell he clearly lost to Norton in the rubber match only to get a gift decision.

I agree. I also feel Holmes had the beating of Ali for up to Four years prior to when they actually fought. Remember, Holmes was Ali's main sparring partner, so he knew his strengths & weaknesses better than any other fighter at that time of Ali's career.

Either Holmes or Norton would have beat him at this point. Ali was 36 and had a lot of wear and tear. He had declined considerably since the 3rd fight against Frazier in 1975. He still fight well at times against Norton in 1976, but by 1978 he really could only fight in brief flashes.
