I never really took to Terry Dunstan (I never met the man) though he was a very capable boxer with a very good punch.

I've not met Howard Rainey but have seen his posts and he really does come across as a very grounded and decent man. I hope he gets to write the book he'd thought about.

Best of luck to both in their next endeavours.

Feel sorry for Terry that his last fight ended in such a dramatic fashion, I'm sure it's not how he would have wanted to end his career.

To be fair, it was one hell of a shot, not sure that anyone would have been able to get up from that.

Ola is one of the best in the world so hopefully when Ola wins a world title Terry will know ( if he doesn't already) he lost to a very good fighter indeed. To lose like that at domestic level would be an even bigger blow, but that was real World Class.

Howards one of my best friends in the sport , almost everything I teach the kids comes from him- he's a truly brilliant trainer and I'm so pleased he passed on some of his knowledge to me! All the best Howard and Terry

It was a good book, I enjoyed the humour as well as the story. I've bought his other book, Man Buys Dog, just need to get through some others first.

I have to say I have been lucky enough to spend time in gyms with howard and out of them too,he's a great bloke,down to earth and funny too except when he drops in a joke or too,wish him all the success in the world what ever he does and he will b missed in boxing cause he's a grate charactor with no end of knowledge

Forget Lewis-Bowe, the one fight I really wanted to see in the early 1990s was McMillan-Hodkinson. They met as amateurs (Hoko winning) but Colin was brilliant up to the shoulder thing and it would have been classic pick 'em, classic bull versus the matador.
