What else is on the PPV card other than the Theophane fight?

It's a shame it's Pay Per View. It should be a decent scrap, but these guys are definitely not (yet, if ever) World class. They're both quite interesting characters, so there'll be something to talk about.

Chisora spanked his girlfriend in public and was in trouble with the police for that. Fury's Dad is currently in jail for gouging out another man's eye at a car auction. Also, they both like to trash-talk.

I'm surprised that fight is being shown in the US at all, I'm astonished that they're asking people to pay for it.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way anyway, Fury is an Irish name so I don't know how his dad is English, if his name was Tyson Smith I'd understand your reasoning. I was born in England and have lived here my whole life but that doesn't make me English any more than if I was born in the Congo I'd be black.
I doubt that most English nationalists would accept an Irish traveller (meaning Fury) as being English.

Ethnically he's an Irish traveller, legally he's a British citizen.

EDIT: Although from a slightly different angle I do share your cynicism though, playing up the ethnic angle in an attempt to con people out of $50 for a fight that's not worth $5 on ppv is quite appalling.

I think it's $24.95 in my area. I'd like to see the fight because I'd be interested to see Chisora fight since he may be the next opponent for Wlad (if he beats Fury). Dunno if it's worth $25, though. Theophane has been in some good fights, but he's in against a 36 year old that I'm unaware of. No idea if any other decent fights are on the card.

IMO he's a british/irish travelling gypsie, most of us are british/irish anyway. And as far as im aware irish travellers official nationality is Irish and ethnicity is Irish Traveller. Since they are considered nomadic.

Also if you were born in england and lived there your whole life - you would be british. I think your confusing nationality with ethnicity.

Its like all these 3rd generation irish people in america - hate to break it to them but they aint irish , they're americans. Stop banging on about being irish!

Im being light hearted by the way Everyone has the right to decide what they consider themselves if they have a link to that nationality or ethnicity.

My surname is also Irish, but I'm definitely not Irish. Tyson Fury is English through and through, whether he likes it or not. His heritage is Irish, but what matters is where you were born and where you were brought up, when discussing nationality.

Agreed. David Price is the guy most of us believe has very good potential. The main worry with him is his chin.

It's no cost to the promotion to throw it on PPV here. Why not do it? Before I found streams, I would have ended up getting it. I bought Sultan/Briggs.

Is Khan/Judah PPV over there? That could also be a contributing factor.

Yeah, Khan-Judah is PPV. They could be on the same channel as part of the same PPV. We sometimes have that here. You pay once and watch boxing from 9/10pm until 5am (starting in the UK and then moving to the US)!
