Hall of fame correction

Virgil Hill is listed as the first human controlled fighter to be a champion during post BRS deletion.

In all actuality the first win of the new era and the first champion of the new era was Alexis Arguello.

Which also was an Alliance win over the SSM.

Was this an official win or an exhibition fight?

You cannot dispute facts.

Are titles awarded in a what would happen fight?

Titles weren't officially awarded despite both fighters previously having a belt each. How could they be when there weren't a season in progress?

It was spoken by the commissioner there for official.

F*ck it, take Hill out the HoF, I'll still have 3 fighters in there, 4 come the end of the season.

Hill was the first official champion. Arguello's fight had as much clout as the dream matches made in the other thread.

Good point. Just shows how desperate the Alliance are for recognition

We could sit here arguing with this faggot, but we're better of waiting for TF to return to pass prroper judgement.

Even though you wish to bury the truth in the dirt you will live with it deep down inside you. If justice can win and it can, I will still be here tomorrow to high five you yesterday.

Kevo...

In the great HW season where Tyson ended up champ on the last week, you need to reflect on this. And I'm pretty sure this is in your hands to offer crediblity.

Though Tyson made the HOF...Bowe had equal claim. He had the longest winning streak up to that time...(possibly the longes KO streak in sim history) AND based on all the whining that he had to endure, he did as popularly demanded and left the WBU and unified all the major belts. Tyson was the last man standing with the unified title, but Bowe was at least his equal in performance despite his early WBU credentials. That was truly a great season. Geto had Holyfield unify as well as I recall. Wills/Bowe/Holyfield/Tyson were the only unified champs of that season. Wills having the most defenses followed by Tyson, Bowe and Evander Holyfield who only held the title long enough for GBP to swap champions.

Tyson never had to defend against the man he took the title from, as the clock ran out on the season.

Sadly we don't have the political clout to get Bowe his just due. Your word could turn the trick if you happened to feel so inclined.

Bowe's win streak was against sub-par opposition. The only reason Tyson didn't defend against Bowe was because Bowe ran from him and refused to unify until the last day of the season. Tyson also beat all the other unifeid champs (only Wills lating the distance).

Both GBP men to Unified status was a pretty lofty and achieved goal though. Not that you'd concede that.

Bowe did not run...time ran out. 2 out of 3 may have favored Tyson, but it did not happen....not ours our your fault from our perspective.

During that WBU run, Bowe did have sub par opposition because no one including Tyson wanted to tangle unless something more worthy than the WBU belt was on the line.

Your memory is interesting, wonderfully self serving, and entertaining.... if not accurate.

This is the fight Grimm is referring to.

And yes it happened before the first LHW title was won by Hill in the first season after the great deletion, but as it was not done "during" an official, ongoing season, I cannot recommend changing Virgil's status.
