TYSON FURY: CHISORA, HAYE THEN KLITSCHKO

Tyson Fury says once he knocks out British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora on July 23 at Wembley Arena he wants to do the same to David Haye before a showdown with World champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Fury was left bewildered by how David Haye flopped on the big stage against Klitschko in their World heavyweight title fight in Hamburg. "I'm the future of heavyweight boxing in Britain and the world," says Fury.

"When you looked at how Haye boxed against Klitschko, it's not how a true heavyweight with a true heart should fight but the British fans shouldn't worry because I'm the coming force and I'll show that when I knock out Chisora. Then I want to knock out David Haye to prove to Wladimir that I'm the real deal.

"If I had boxed the way Haye did I don't think I could look at myself in the mirror ever again. But the fans can get to see a real heavyweight tear-up when I get it on with Chisora.

"We're both going to come and have a fight, we're not there to dance. Proper fighting men don't dance, the fans deserve a proper fight and they'll get it. There's going to be fireworks.

"You have to respect what Wladimir Klitschko did but fighting me he would be fighting a true heavyweight and not a blown up cruiserweight. Wladimir has proved that he is the real deal but now it's my time to show the world that I'm the next big thing.

“I want to bring pride and honour back to the British heavyweight scene. It got lost in all of Haye's trash talking. But I'm the future and everyone will see that live on terrestrial tv on Channel 5."

With Britissh boxing on a bit of a downer at the moment, its a good fight to look forward too.

The winner of Tyson Fury-Derek Chisora will have to fight David Price as he is currently mandatory for the British and Commonwealth titles, although I have heard talk that Price maybe going in with John McDermott. But I like Fury, he is confident he is engaging and is throwback fighter who is willing to take on all comers as he believes that he has got the tools to beat them with his height, reach and power to do so. Although I have seen an interview on BBC stating one of the brothers K would like to fight in the future as they are looking at the current crop, I reckon Fury's priority should be clearing out the British scene, win the Lonsdale outright get the European belt and then a world title, by then he will be ready unless Mick Hennessy gets a fantastic offer from the Brothers K to fight one of them.

Personally I'm thrilled about the fight. I like Fury and Chisora and I'm sure they'll get straight down to business when the bell rings too.

The bar idea will be very attractive to many of Fury's family I'm sure. Perhaps we'll see a few more Fury fights, other than the one inside the ropes !

Does anyone know what time the channel 5 coverage begins yet ? Al Bernstein makes a welcome change too.

They 2 should be made to wear amateur style vests if this is on council tele....

Cant have the neutrals thinking that people in that shape are the possible future of british boxing.
