im a bit dissapointed the programe is only airing for an hour and a half, not really going to give enough time to show any other fights on the card :-(

Hopefully it does good enough numbers to encourage Ch5 to show more boxing in the future.

What do you expect? It's channel five and sport, When they show cricket highlights It's on for an hour, four advert breaks, and lots of little quirty shit segments they clearly think are better than watching actual sport. I'd be suprised if they even show the Theophane/Cook fight let alone the Macleese/Toms fight in any form.

I hope Del Boy stops him.

Tyson saying he will kill him is bad taste. He dad must be so proud.

Weird isnt it. Its better than nothing but they could show more.

I loved the old Hennessey bills on ITV where they showed 2/3 fights on ITV4 then switched over to ITV1. Although I appreciate that Channel 4 doesnt have the option that ITV had with the extra channels.

they could show the undercard on Fiver or whatever they call their sister channel now, still this is the first time live boxing has been on terrestrial TV since Nov 2009 so I'm not complaining, it's a good start.

Tell all our non boxing mates to tune in. Will be a decent fight, good chance of knockdowns and we want massive terrestrial figures to prove what we've all been saying for years. Good fights, scheduled at the right time (no major sports events clash with this as far as i'm aware) will bring in very good viewing figures. This is C5 dipping their toes in, lets hope they like what they see.
Pray for no late injury/illness scares and a good competitive fight....

I'm happy with this, sure, its just a short show, but fornicate, its better than nothing. I can't really justify paying for Sky and more.
