there will never be another fighter as confident and as cocky as naz,at the time he was around i didnt like him but knew he had talent,now i wish he was still around he would of brightened this sport up alot.

True, but he was a natural showman, he never swore and seemed morally a decent guy, but yes he lost at the highest level, but gave a better account than Haye did against Wlad.

looked a mug in the end? he got beat by barrera thats no shame and then had a 12 round decision win against some spainsh guy then retired. naz backed it up imo he beat every champion at the time in his division now to me thats backing it up

he only got beat once and that was to a barrera many consider the best featherweight out there at that time,which i agree he was,so it was like number 1 vs number 2 featherweight naz was made to look silly at times because barrera was a clever boxer who had seen it all remember he was pro from the age of 15

the thing that let naz down was he surrounded himself with yes men and people who bummed him up,he had his family as his managers and you know the old saying dont mix family with business. remember the programme the little prince or something like that,his brother on it was like "ooooh naz isnt happy someone is gonna get hurt today" then manny steward came out after the sparring session and to me it was like manny was saying naz just took a beating but not in so many words,he wasnt happy with the way it went. naz dropped everyone that made him who he was w@rren,ingle all the old boys who we used to see messing around before fight night and replaced them with false people,abit like tyson when he got out of jail.

He didn't just get beat by Barrerra He got hammered, after all the talk of being the greatest ever, and then your right he beat some spanish guy and then disappeared - Legend. Maybe he should have came back, showed some heart, left a legacy. Maybe he should become a racing car driver.

Well maybe he can come on and tell you himself but from my understanding is that the guy who created this site was never a boxing fan at all but he was invited to watch Naseem and was mesmerized and became a big fan of Hamed and then the sport. He used to hang out with some members of the Hamed family and i guess after Hamed lit the flame he ended up creating this site a few years later.

On another note i never realised that Carl Froch only came back to boxing due to his hero worship of Naz.

As much as i'm a fan of Barrerra he was KTFO and beaten twice by Junior Jones yet no one would say Jones is better then Barrerra nowadays even though in both fights Jones clearly showed he was in a different class.
