Oh dear oh dear oh dear here is 3reasons you should question your relationship 1 why would she be obsessed with johnny nelsons thighs 2 is it really her who's looking at his thighs 3 are you sure she's looking at his thigh ha ha

I know it's a bit of a left field subject following a great weekend of boxing i could've chosen to discuss a number of subjects but I'd had a couple of beers and something wants doing about his choice of slacks it's disturbing my viewing her in my ear every Thursday .

So was barrymore its fine pal half expected a bit of stick when i posted i've not long finished reading his book and he talks about lots of women turning up at weigh ins to see NELSONS COLUMN his words not mine

Was his book more interesting than his fights? Actually he was in alot of dull fights, but I guess the book would be a good read He must have fought in about 15-20 countries as a pro, and I remember reading years ago he got an absoloute stinker of a decision in Brazil. He also fought in Mount smart stadium which is 10 minutes walk from where I live in Auckland (Although I didn't live there when he fought there.)

Its not a bad read talks candidly about when he was seen as being a joke in british boxing having to travel the world including Auckland Brazil Vegas and many fights in eastern europe and also gives a good insight into what life was like with brendan ingle in the naz era and the bad blood that there was in the end .He recalls a time when naz tried as a friend to get him a fight on one of frank warrens shows and frank replied "If johnny nelson was having a fight in my back garden i'd draw the curtains" which to include in your autobiography shows good character (the books called hard road to glory published by JOHN BLAKE if you fancied getting a copy
