WHat future is there for the HW division after The klitchkos retire in the next 5 years having seen off the false prophet david haye, a barrren seemingly non ending wasteland of talentless mediocrities like Fury and an army of eastern european robots and fat african slobs. it will spell unprecedented inertia and the idiots in the early to mid 80's 90's who thought they had it bad (like jeff ryan and wally matthews and Jim Bagg) when tyson wasnt on the scene will really have cause to complan.No doubt the HW division is heading in the next 5 years for its bleakest ever period big fat slobs, talentless eastern europeans.No exciting black or white american talent on the horizons.....wouldnt it be fascinating though if some unprecedented exciting heavyweight emerges from a country u would never imaqgine like the phillipines?...or if all of a sudden a country like mexico or latin america suddenly starts to take over the hw division as they slowly and surely have started to the middle divisions.......I am convinced Mexico and by that I mean the country as opposed to american mexicans will soon produce a great HW and I dont mean a fat useless slob like Arreola. Man I see that 2 bit bum and pine for a talent like alex ramos

Well when you think about it, England alone has 3 hot prospects in fury, chisora and price, they might not be world beaters just yet but there novice pros. So imagine if every country has 3 prospects, there must be a few good names out there ! And dont forget povetkin. Just because there isn't an Ali, Tyson or Lewis around right now there will be someone soon I promise !

Even if you don't believe the current crop is any good Mike Tyson became world champion 20 months after turning pro, so who can even tell in another 20 months time and yet your predicting how baron it will be in 5 plus years time, the olympics are next year aswell have you written all of them off already? WHat i actually said, if you try and read my post properly this time , is that there are no potential great or good heavweights out there on the radar as things stand today after the brothers retire.....I did not say there will never be any great or good heavyweights emerging in the near future.......if you had a braincell to rub together you might be able to read towards the end of my post where i predict a great HW will emerge soon from Mexico or a previously untapped HW market like the Phillipines or Japan......oh and by the way if you knew anything you would know Tyson did not just "emerge from nowhere and win the title in 20 months"....the boxing press and the US amateur authorities were well aware of the phenom being groomed by the forgotten Cus D'Amato....that in itself was news......Tyson was expected to be the US representative at the Olympics in 84. He was heavily publicised even before he turned pro. It was the same with another Brooklyn New York fighter and pal of Tysons , Mark Breland....who starred in a major Hollywood movie even before he won Olympic Gold.

We had fringe fighters who were world class and bloody exciting but on the night could be beat such as, Herbie Hide, Frank Bruno, Micheal Moorer, Riddock Bowe, Oliver McCall (need I say any more), Tommy Morrison, James Douglas (who thought it?).

Look at the fights in the turn of the year 2000 but not lets say any of the above if they fought after 1999. Roy Jones jr, who took the step up and im sure we found that intriguing. Im not sure who else to mention.

We have come to a time of the century and this happens in most sports that we get a boring few years. I'm sure somewhere out there there is going to be another Mike Tyson, Frank Bruno etc etc that will walk into the ring and reignite that little pilot light.

Have you ever been too the Philippines? I'm 5 foot 9' and I was considered tall there.

Yes I have been to the Phillipines as well as much of the rest of South East Asia.
THe Phillipines notwithstanding many of those countries have fast growing middle classes in love with western fast food. People are not as small in many of those countries as you like to think. In Singapore I have seen many chinese men between 5ft 11 and 6ft 3.

He has already refused to meet them once, and its my impression he seem to be in a stage of his career where he doesnt seem to be going forward more standing still.

Lets say we have a scenario where Haye now retires, Adamek loses to Vitali, Vitali has a swansong and calls it a day.....and Wladimir fights only one more year and than retires claiming to have cleaned out the entire division......if at that stage Povetkin than goes on to clean up and hold most the titles and be recognised as the number 1, and hell, lets say he has even improved from what he is now.........dont you think there will still be an impression he is that much worse than what went before him, and those that went before him are that much worse than the era of Lewis, Holy,Bowe and Tyson etc before that.......?
