Was looking forward to the show in Batley. Had a full pager going in the Yorkshire Evening Post on it but had to pull sadly. Big shame for Josh Warrington.

Wake up ,

Im disapointed too , but was down to 4 fights and they way my luck has been lately on my own shows was scared of another pull out leaving only 3 .With it being our first show at the Frontier we need to get it right and then hope to have many more at the venue.

Josh had trained hard for it and was looking forward to fighting near home but fully understands the situation. He is only 20 and will box there soon , he has already been noticed and we have plenty of opportunities knocking for when the time is right.

Hey Steve, when you reckon Rick Godding will be back out? Really impressed with him every time av saw him. Nice boxer. Won't be long before he get some sort of title shot?

Hi Dougie ,

Rick has had a small problem with his thumb getting damaged in sparring , that is why he has not been as active as we would like.

If all goes well he should be ready for the October show in his home town off Bolton , not getting younger so he will be pushed next season.

Good stuff. Well here's hoping the injury clears up and he gets a few wins behind him. All the best mate
