Australia has some good fighters, such as Daniel Geale, Micheal Katsidas, Lenny Zappa, Billy Dibb, Mundine & Green. Its behind so many countries in the world as far boxing goes,its probably behind 5 maybe 10 countries. It's simple who wants to be a pro boxer, there's no money in it,so that's why ozzy boxing is so shit, boxing is the number one sport for men, why do so many people in ozzy boxing carry on like women?back stabbing, jealousy, don't want to see others succeed, is how alot of people in ozzy boxing are, aren't we men? being involved in the real mans sport.

Australia has consistently produced world class fighters and quite a few of them considering the population size.

There isn't a lot of depth, but as long as I can recall there has ALWAYS been a few world class fighters active at any given time.

That's true Australia has always had some fighters at world level, but the cap between them & domestic level fighters is pretty big.

Have a look at the majority of boxers in other countries.

If it were not for boxing a lot of American heavyweights would be on welfare.

I can see your point, in Australia the money you get from welfare, is better that what you would get, if you just fought pro, and that was your only source of income.

The level of unemployment in Australia is recognised internationally as full employment anyway. The Yanks would love to have unemployment under 5%. Their "Conservative" commentators hate the idea of a minimum wage of $15 per hour. They like people to work for next to nothing.

Paul got stopped by my mate Joe DeAngelo, he has retired. I'm still recovering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, I may not be in action for a couple more months yet, although I am now sparring again, very tentatively.
