Alex Arthur will return to the ring in Edinburgh at the Meadowbank Stadium on March 27. The local man, who lost the British super-featherweight title and his unbeaten record to Michael Gomez at the same venue in October, will top the bill in a scheduled 12-rounder for an intercontinental title. No opponent named as yet.
Despite Arthur’s fifth-round defeat to Gomez, promoter allegedly was so impressed by the response of the Edinburgh public to the return of professional boxing to Scotland's capital, he is determined to run regular shows in the city. Another 3,000 sell-out crowd is anticipated.
Shame about the title. Arthur should be brought back in an eight-rounder.

I hope Arthur gets beat again, can't stand the guy's personality (or distinct lack of one)

I dont think we will be seeing much more of the amazing one. That man was build on confidence that he could not be beat, like Naseem, now with that crushing and comprehensive loss to Gomez, i feel he cannot comeback successfully, coupled with the fact he has already hinted at retirement at the end of the year, if he fails to pick up a belt.
