I'd love to see him spark Danny Green in Oz.

I'd like to see him fight David Haye. He could compete with the smaller Heavies like JC Gomez and Adamek.

I think he is a bit too old to be so innactive so I think he could be finished now. Although the Cruiser division is poor, so could still land a shot.

Wasn't Herbie the main challenger for the WBC strap around the time he fought in Prizefighter? If he does decide to get back into boxing he needs a few short distance fights to shake off the ring rust. Knowing the WBC they will probably throw him back near the top of the rankings if he fights for and wins one of their International or Silver belts. Then maybe he take chance his arm over in Poland against Wlodarczyk. Time isn't on his side - 40 in August.

rumours amongst the nigerian community are hide is nearer 45 than 40...whatever the score, hide looked awful in prizefighter and needs to get active. i knew he wasnt guilty of this rape charge. the norfolk police ought to be pistol whipped this is at least the second time herbie has been accused of a rape falsely and he has been hounded by the police for years and years.

rarely has a fighter used his money as well as hide despite all his legal headaches. his mansion in norfolk is fantastic. i was there one night in 2000. and his home in america is awesome too.

I reckon Herbie must have his lawyers number pretty near the top of his cheap phone a friend list.

Hide is done competing at any serious level. Can't see him getting close to a world title shot unless a champ wants an easy defense, but even that will be difficult as Herbie isn't ranked by any sanctioning body.

In fairness he has been hounded by the police for good reason 99% of the time.

last time i saw him fight he looked awful. timing has gone and thus a lot of his power. he was just looking for single shots.

Exactly what I mean. No idea if he did it or not but he's been found not guilty. Despite that he has suffered for it, his name is tarnished and he has lost earnings.

Im sure i heard the Hide was declared bankrupt in the late 90's just after he had made the majority of his paydays?

I could well beleive this when i watched him fight Henry Akinwande i remember thinking how the F%*$ can he be two years older than me.
