Despite being shat on by various TV broadcasters and loosing the majority of his stable Mick Hennesey is still plugging away and looking for new openings. Respect he's showing a fighters heart!!

I'd love to see him come back from the brink, lets hope Saturdays event on Channel 5 is a success and goes down well with the station!

Mick will put on a great night of boxing on Saturday on channel 5 I'm sure of it.

I'm far more interested in Fury vs Chisora than Judah.

Really like Mick met him way before he got into the pro side of boxing.

If Fury somehow gets a world title this should be a film its much better than Jerry Maguire.

New guy bursts on too scene with stable does great.Things start to go wrong loses tv deal after tv deal. His fighters start to leave. His main guy makes it to the super 6 then leaves. The rest of his fighters are gone he looks down and out.

Hes left with a 6.8 lunatic and a one shot to make it on a smallish tv channel.

This goes right for mick and i guarantee this is getting made into a film you couldnt write it.

I had a nice chat with Mick at the Eastman-Elcock show and i also found him to be a top bloke.

Just because worms like Froch, Murray and Barker have pissed off for supposed greener grass, Mick appears to be in boxing for the long haul and there's no reason why Mick can't start over. It's not like he's had his licence revoked, he's just had some spoilt bratts jump ship becuase they haven't had everything their own way.

Hennessy used to put on the best small hall shows in the business. I don't believe that's a knack you lose. The Sanigars can still do that, Maloney can still do it if they wish and there's no reason Hennessy still can't sign up good talents from the amateurs.
