Judah trying to win an oscar claiming khan hit him low. An embarrassing way to end a career.

judah got this fight cos bradley wimped out.
always looked a comfortable defence.
even in judah's prime i think khan would have dealt with him.

It wasn't a low blow. It clearly landed on Judah's six-pack (belt line).

Looked borderline to me..started on the top end of the belt but yeah Judah was a shadow of his former self, not to take credit away from AK, he executed perfectly and was too quick.

if its on the belt its clean. Juday claimed he thought the ref was giving him a standing 8 count then some extra time to get up? so didnt bother getting up. what a tool.
Judah wasnt a shadow of his former self, he was never that good in the first place. He beat cory spinks in the rematch after loosing the first fight and beat jr witter thats it everyone else good beat him and kostya destroyed him.

Even earlier in that round he was looking for a way out. Although the replays from an angle clearly show that he wasn't hit below the belly button it was a meaty shot to the stomach that really hurt. I don't think it's fair to say he chickened out as he looked really hurt. That part of it was definitely not an act.
judah thought he was being given a standing 8 count while he was sitting!

Here's the stoppage. Pause at 4:35 and 4:47 for a good look at where the shot lands. Clearly on the beltline, although I could swear Drakulich mentioned at the beggining that those would be considered low.
Khan looked very good tonight and dominated every minute of the fight. He's also now leap-frogged Bradley in the 140 rankings.

It wasn't low, it was on the belt line, and Judah's beltline was high. It caught him just above his right hip.
Judah wanted out of there.

I don't think it was a low blow, but what it did was lift the whole cup protector up quite violently. I can see, therefore, why Judah might have thought it was low.
But his shpeel about "a standing eight count", combined with Judah's 'history', suggests to me that he wanted out. Standing eight count? He really thought that? When, ever, has a standing eight count been given for a low blow? If it's low, the referee calls time and gives a fighter five minute to recover. Never, ever, ever has there been a standing eight count followed by time out. What would be the point?
It's a shame, because Khan not only won every round, but was winning every round in more dominating fashion than the last. From the third onward, he was finding Judah with ease. And in the fourth and fifth, he was looking to punish him.
Judah had nothing at all.
I thought it was a bit off of Max Kellerman to goad Khan into bad-mouthing Bradley. Kellerman should know that it's all HBO's fault that that fight didn't come off. If they hadn't guaranteed Bradley a big money payday after his fight with Alexander, he would've been forced to fight Khan. As it was, he was guaranteed the money, so why not fight whoever?
Anyway, now there's nowhere for either man to go, and it'll be next up.
Khan's speed and jab is going to make him hard work for anyone in the 140lb neighbourhood.

All these years people said Judah had no balls, turns out they were on his solar plexus the whole time.

'Old' fighters always struggle against speed of hand and foot - they just can't get their shots off. By the time their mind has registered the counter or the opening, it's gone - that's why their shoulders tense and they start loading up. Khan was just too young, fresh and speedy for the veteran. Because of his style and attributes Khan is more likely to struggle with someone who has a) the rare type of exceptional boxing brain that Mayweather and Hopkins have got, someone who can neutralise speed because of their positioning. Or b) someone like Maidana who doesn't think too much and just throws power shots without waiting for the opening.

The shot landed on the belly button, most fighter yank their trunks to cover their navels anyway, absolutely no problems with that shot at all.
Judah may not be the fighter he was but an absolutely faultless display from Khan, dispatched him with ease and deserves the credit.

I think big slob Baldomir and clottey proved that a long time ago. Great performance by Khan, he was fast, strong, confident and determined.
But I never realised when Zab declared he wouldn't help the UK PPV - he actually meant he wouldnt even fight in it !

Didn't think he'd stop Judah but it always looked like a straight forward defence. As Khan kept repeating, Judah has been in with some big names over the last decade but he couldn't beat them in his prime so it was unlikely that he could come up with a performance to beat a solid 140lb operator
Haven't seen any of it but a stoppage in 5 will look good on the slate

Yeah I agree.
Only the elite will stand a chance of outboxing Khan, the other way to beat Khan is by taking the 'Prescott' approach

Good call. However I think that Khan's speed can cause Mayweather some problems. Mayweather is 34 now, and doesn't throw punches in bunches any more. I would say Khan's handspeed is greater than Mayweathers, I was amazed by how fast he looked. Sure, Judah didn't exactly throw much, so Khan was always going to look fast, but then Judah was never really allowed to throw much. The body jab from the 1st round deterred him from getting his hands going.
I think Khan is always going to struggle against someone who is tough, can take a shot, and who can put him under pressure.
I was impressed with how good Khan's footwork has become under roach, he doesnt fight in straight lines any more, and uses his athleticism well.
