I doubt they would, but it's a fight I would love to see.

It's a crazy state of affairs. If Holyfield beats a 25 year old in his next fight, the board would let the 25 year old fight here, but not the winner - Holyfield. It's a crazy state of affairs.

I don't see why they shouldn't.

The difference between Fury and Holyfield is much less than Haye vs Harrison.

The age rule really is crazy, especially when you consider Hopkins is one of the top half dozen fighters in the world currently at 46, and Glen Johnson can still test anyone in the 168-175 divisions and is impossible to KO.

Yet we allow fat Eurobums and Africans with little or no known form to fight here

They refuse Botha, yet he went on to beat a unbeaten South African prospect. The board are a joke.

Holyfield is a danger to himself...needs to stop...and i for one do not want to see Fury fighting punchy old men.

I wish he'd retired 10 years ago Funso, but if he's gonna fight, it might as well be Fury as anyone else.

Few things would sadden me more than seeing Holyfield beaten up by Tyson Fury. I wouldn't want that fight to happen at all.

Ditto, but Holyfield is a severely deluded man. I think he took on some God like status in his own mind after beating Tyson, he convinces himself that every loss is not his fault.

I would hope the board would not sanction it, Holyfield has been a pro for 26 years and been in countless wars, enough is enough.

Oh absolutely, he's the most deluded fighter out there bar Audley Harrison. If I hear him mention 'adjustments' one more time I will get my hamster to chew my ears off. Watching Fury bash him up would be too much to bear though.
