My pick? have to wait untill after the Mcdermot fight is over as it might be a 3rd fight between Fury and Mcdermot. Boxing is a funny business.

I said it on Saturday night while at Fury fight Price wins!

I'm still reserving judgement for now. In some ways it could be comparable to Groves vs DeGale.

Groves = Fury - had the tougher matches, come through some struggles, proved he has the bottle and grit to come through tough fights but maybe has shown a few weaknesses and not impressed people as much.

DeGale = Price - the talented Olympian with the hype, who has looked great so far, but not yet had a bottle check or a chin check. He could pass that test with flying colours, or he could crumble, we will only know when someone gives him a test, which he hasn't had yet either through his own greatness or bnecause his opponents haven't been upto it.

Or I could just be talking bollocks.

Price by a fair few points

Price by late stoppage, Fury hasn't got the punch power to take Price.

Price in about 4 rounds.
Fury does not have a great defence and Price boxes textbook.
I think price would walk through him hes so physicaly strong and will blow him away.

Price is a different level

Frank, you'll probably never speak to me again when I say this, but I think right now Fury edges it.

That said, we'll learn a lot from the McDermott fight. If Price comes through it and looks impressive, then I might change my mind.

Either way, I think it'll be one hell of a fight.

You know I'm a big Fury fan, but if Price is as good as Frank says he is, then we're looking at a future World Champion.

I take it you're not a Price fan then?

I've only seen Price once and that was against a nobody - didnt last long...

Fury was good on Saturday night and this would be a good fight, but McDermott isnt bad at the british level either.

The strength in depth of the HW division is really poor; its like a Real Madrid and Barca in the Vauxhall Conference and not playing each other!!!

Klitschko's should take a step back and let all these average Joes beat each other and have a new champ THEN they come back and beat them in 3 years or so.

Harsh, but funny.

I think Price has the power to stop him and the size and dimensions to match Fury and easily out point him if he wants to. Price's jab though not as good as it could be is better and has more spite than Fury's. Fury probably has the edge in hand speed but Price's power and shot selection is more advanced than Fury. I also suspect his conditioning is far better over the stretch.

I think Fury might have the better footwork but Price will dictate the pace and make Fury fight his fight and should knock him out any time from the 6th onwards.

As good Fury was on sat night, Chisora never threw more than 8 punches a round and was gassed for the last minute and a half of every round, apart from acouple of right hand hayemakers in the 2nd and 3rd he offered nothing because he looked like he'd done his training in one of wembleys many fastfood joints. I would never pay to see Chisora again, and to think he was mean't to fight Klitscko is laughable now.

I thought he was a KFC man.

Even in shape I never thought much of Chisora and a fight with Wlad would always have been a massacre IMHO.

1.He has had harder build up fights
2.He can switch and Price cannot handle a southpaw
3.Fury has plenty of bottle Price does not
4.Fury has matured since Price beat him in the Amateurs
5.Even if Price does a job on Mac ,Mac is past is sell by date.

I think the McDermott fight is a decent test for Price before fighting Fury.

Ideally though we wouldn't have to wait until November to see it.

I can see Mick putting Fury in another fight between now and then - hell, why not get them both on the same bill on Channel Five.... former amateur rivals, one is current British champion, the other an Olympic medallist who is starting to find some form.

McDermott is of course a former Fury adversary, whilst they can put Fury in with someone, perhaps Towers or maybe even Tom Dallas.

Assuming both men win, stage it for the British in March.
