Evander would go down in history as taking one of the most brutal beatings in boxing history and winning many fans in an ultimately losing if admirable effort

Frazier does, & endurance is the key issue.

The rounds really make a difference. Evander would be a solid favorite at 12, the extra 3 rounds favor Frazier.

But in no shock, I'll take Holyfield based on more concise punching. I think his hook gets there first most of the night. Joe would be charging hard down the stretch but I think Evander's early lead and the damage done to Frazier's face via headbutts and fists are enough to hold on late.

I don't think you'd find solid favouritism for Holyfield over twelve. Definitely for Frazier through fifteen, but even over twelve, this is mighty, mighty close. I think it's just a beautifully savage fight. Frazier hits harder. Holyfield is stronger. Frazier has a better motor. Holyfield has superior combinations. Frazier is a harder finisher. Holyfield is more adaptable. Round & round we go, with a brilliant fight always the outcome.

I meant he would be a solid favorite for me. Even that is a stretch, very much a toss up between two of my favorites.

A great fight. It would be a battle from start to finish. A battle of great will, grit and determination. A hard fight for both men. But, I think the Frazier of circa 1968-71, would be too much for Evander to overcome. It would be too many terrific shots from that left hook, it would be too frightening to see. Holyfield has more speed and was a complete fighter, but, in some time during the fight he would look like if he's tiring while Frazier as the fights goes on, gets stronger and stronger. He is like a car warming up until it full speed.

I could see Smokin Joe dropping The Real Deal late in the fight like he did the great Muhammad Ali, but this time Holyfield's eyes would be shut
