I'd favor Joe strongly over Tyson, Lewis & Dempsey.
Slightly over Bowe & Marciano.
Holmes & Liston slight favorites over him.

Joe Frazier KO8 Mike Tyson
Joe Frazier MD15 Larry Holmes
Rocky Marciano TKO14 Joe Frazier
Joe Frazier UD15 Jack Dempsey
Lennox Lewis TKO7 Joe Frazier
Joe Frazier TKO8 Riddick Bowe
Sonny Liston TKO5 Joe Frazier
I think Tyson, Holmes, Marciano and Dempsey are all close to 50:50 fights. I favour Joe strongly over Bowe and I favour Lewis and Liston strongly over Frazier.

Tyson:
I favour Tyson big over Frazier, it's awful stylistically, but there is forever the caveat that Tyson just doesn't respond mentally to the pressure. Still, my money would be on Tyson early.
Holmes:
Pretty much feel the reverse of the Tyson fight, here. Holmes would have an outside chance, & definitely his moments, but I'm fairly confident of a Frazier success here.
Marciano:
As close to a coin-toss as you can get, IMO. I really see this as anyone's fight on the night.
Dempsey:
I like Dempsey,
big. He presents Frazier with much the same problems Tyson does, minus the psychological fragility. Dempsey early, IMO. I fancy Frazier would not respond well at all to his punch.
Lewis:
A hard one to predict, because I can see not only a victory, but a decisive one in either direction. Lewis could poleaxe him very early, or Frazier could run Lewis flat exhausted if the big man comes out in Tua-mod, too safe & pawing with the (over-rated) jab. A hard fight to predict --- I'll give Frazier the benefit of the doubt.
Bowe:
Bowe was not Foreman, as a puncher or a finisher, but then, Foreman showed he beat Frazier with room to spare. This is a hell of a tough fight for Frazier if Bowe is on his game. As with Lewis, it could be Bowe early-to-mid, Frazier late or on decision. Maybe even a Bowe decision over twleve. I'm gonna go with Frazier again, but its tough.
Liston:
Tack on an extra two rounds from the first Foreman fight, & that's it. Liston devastates him every time, IMO. Running onto that jab, oh, boy. Goodnight.

re Tyson, Liston, Lewis, they scare me in that order, but prime '69 Frazier would hold his own. The notion that Liston "devastates" Frazier "every time" is borderline insane, imo.
re Marciano, call in a team of plastic surgeons for after the fight to begin reconstruction of Rocky's face.
re Dempsey, would the sight of the Mauler face down, butt up by rd 6 arouse any of our esteemed contributors?
Well, maybe Collins.

Do a 180 on Dempsey - Frazier, have Liston tko Frazier in 5 and we are in total agreement.

Well, maybe Collins.

Unlike you Nance, I prefer to watch the fights with my trousers on.

He beats every last one of them 2 out of 3.

Mike Tyson -This would be like The War between Hearns and Hagler. It's not lasting long. Tyson has more tools. Frazier has more heart. It's Frazier in 3
Larry Holmes-Holmes uses his jab to keep Joe away. Smothers him when he tries to get inside. Sound familiar. I like Holmes in a split decision.
Rocky Marciano- This would be like The War between Hearn and Hagler too. It's not lasting long. They both have heart. But Frazier is bigger, stronger, and has more tools. It's Frazier in 6.
Jack Dempsey- I like Frazier in a late stoppage.
Lennox Lewis- I see Lewis fighting one of his patented safety first fights. That's not a bad thing. In the referee instruction he says "protect yourself at all time." Frazier just can't get inside. It's Lewis in a boring decision.
Riddick Bowe-No defense Bowe gets overwhelmed by Frazier's swarming style. It's Frazier in 6.
Sonny Liston- This could be Foreman-Frazier redux. I like Liston is a early stoppage.

.
Frazier was no fat Tua. If he could get on the inside of a near-peak Ali, he's certainly getting inside on Lewis, and Frazier has a lot of body to work with. Lewis's excellent uppercut will hurt Frazier early and maybe drop him, but I don't see Lennox being able to keep up with the pace that Frazier's constant head movement and pressure brings forth. Frazier at his peak also didn't fight flat-footed and would be able to close the distance unlike Tua and a shot Tyson, who just plodded forward aimlessly.

Agreed.
Frazier WOULD get inside and that big body of Lewis would be oh so tempting.
The early going could have some scary moments for Frazier fans but I'm confident that Frazier would get past them, take Lennox out to deep water and drown him.

I have Rocky going longer and Dempsey going shorter, but agree that they are both going to go against Frazier.
Not quite as confident as you are about Tyson-Frazier. If Frazier makes it to round 3 in good shape, he wins, but those first two rounds are very dangerous.

vs Holmes, I pick Frazier by late TKO in a spectacular fight.
vs Marciano, I pick Frazier too, in a bloody affair. It would remind us of Frazier-Quarry I
vs Dempsey, I pick Frazier...Too strong
vs Lewis, I pick Frazier...Lewis' chin would not hold up. Plus, I don't think he would stand the relentless pressure of Smokin' Joe
vs Bowe, even at his very best when he fought Holyfield I, I cannot see this guy beating Smokin' Joe. Especially the Smokin' Joe of circa 1968-71.
vs Liston, the one that would give Frazier the more trouble. It could be a toss up for me.

vs Tyson, I pick Frazier. Tyson better catch him early before the 5th. After the 5th, it's all Joe Frazier.

I recognize this smile. It is the iconic "smile of enlightenment". You need not thank me, I practice the unselfish discipline of "pay it forward".
