It is really poor from Hayemaker to be honest and Groves would have every right to be pissed with them

Hayemaker seldom do things by the book, I don't think it's any big deal to be honest.

They'll get him on some card in the States soon before looking at options here.

It is frustrating that they seem to be missing out on the chance of capitalising on the DeGale victory.

I thought you couldn't go into a Euro title fight straight after a loss? Hence why the Euro title wasn't on the line for Murray-Mitchell?

Must be because it was a close fight. Maybe it's a KO loss that prevents you - or each challenger is viewed on their merit (or % of purse ! )

It's what's called a ''bad defeat''.

I wouldn't say losing in a world title challenge (Rhodes) is worse than losing to a domestic rival in Groves, nor would most people I'd imagine.

The ''coming off a loss'' rule is ludicrous, what would happen to an immediate rematch?
