damn Tony will be getting paid a career high surely!!!
as champ he gets 60% doesnt he??? thats £36k... a lot of money for a british title defence. £15k-£20k is the norm

incidentally Delaney V Calzaghe both got over £50k a piece for their british title fight back in the day!! huge money!!!

I pick Carl Froch for this one, he has the talent to overcome the more rugged Dodson. It all depends on how good Froch's stamina is and whether Dodson cuts or not, also Froch needs to hold his left higher and work more on the jab. His relexes can only carry him so far he needs a better platform of defence.

Froch is going to be favorite, but Dodson might give him more than he's bargained for. He's a tough guy and is obviously taking this seriously - off to the States with Steve Collins and Hagler's old crew.
Good fight that should tell us a lot about Carl Froch's future.

From what I heard on Ringside a few years ago, Collins is a very "hands on" trainer. He'll be in there sparring with Dodson, this can only be a good thing. He'll teach him so much.

Froch is the favourite, but its a big step up. If Dodson can put a performance like he did against Barbosa, then its a very tough call. I think went off the boil for a few fights, but the title might give him the confidence. Training with Collins can only be a good thing.

Froch hasn't beaten anyone since his amateur days. Honestly, he's beaten no-one.
