I've lost me video of the fight, Does anyone remember.....
1 Who the commentary team were, I recall it being Ian Darke and Duke McKenzie?
2 How they had the bout scored, I seem to recally they still had it as a narrow win for Reid even with the decision.

He is squeaky isn't he? He hyperventilates too.
Christ you're quick off the draw....actually Neilly is quite nasal.
Nasal Neilly and the Squeay Duke, what a pairing.

Na, I think duke was commentating on some fight with a dude called "Ock" :)

Yes, the poor little lamb was having convulsions trying to pronounce his name.

I watched it on ZDF - the commentator was Gunter Schmidt and he had Ottke winning 120-108 - does that help?

Duke McKenzie is very passionate and occasionally gets a little bit carried away, he even starts pronouncing names wrong and all sorts. However Glenn McCrory is no better with his favourite catchphrase "That's right Ian" and copying everything Darke says. Mighty Warrior do you know what the German cast score was? Was it really 120-108?!

To be honest I don't Steve - they have viewers who vote after each round and the scores come up on screen, usualy heavily in favour of the German guy, so I tend to ignore them.
I was just transfixed by the incompetent Belgium referee that night - couldn't believe my eyes! It was so obvious that Reid was going to get screwed I switched off, then watched the Beeb later on.
McCoy tells me ZDF are showing Gonzalez this weekend. Let's hope the guy gets a few breaks....but I doubt it somehow.

Ok mate, i was not sure whether you were jesting or not. It's hard to tell from the old smileys. Either way i have seen that fans scoring system and it is a joke.

1 - been answered - terrible job they did aswell.
2) I think they had Reid a long way ahead, Duke was so off the boil and so focused on the ref, he stopped viewing the fight - cause he was giving Reid rounds that he didn't win.
Bunce had it Reid by 2 I think, but didn't clearly state if that was his "official" score card, or was that scoring the KD and not taking the point away.
If you want a version, then I would get a copy with Steve Holdworth commentating - cause the commentators were terrible and frankly wrong.

When its a Sauerland card there is no online scoring that is Universum. The fight was shown on ARD not ZDF

Cheers Freiheit, i rate Holdsworth as a commentator as he never pulls punches and says what he sees. I missed his view on Reid-Ottke, what did Steve think of the fight? I might have to obtain a copy off Brian Martin.

Yeah, he made a real "Ock" up of Ottke's name :)
Jim Neilly is just as bad calling William Joppy, William Yoppy
something tells McCoy that those cats are drinking before they go on air
