The site mentioned Pipino Cuevas as the youngest to ever win a world title. While I respect him, Wilfred Benitez is the youngest to win a title when he defeated Antonio Cervantes.

Where does it mention that? Cuevas's main wiki entry and the wiki entry for the Espada bout mention that Cuevas "was the youngest person to win a world welterweight title," not that he was the youngest to win a world title at any weight. Did a boxer win a world welterweight title at younger age than Cuevas did?

benitez was 17.

Benitez did not win a welterweight title when he was 17.
Benitez won the WBA light welterweight title when he was 17.
Cuevas won the WBA welterweight title when he was 18.
