He suddenly decided to put it all on the line hammered williams with an exceptionally classy peformance, then took it to sprott in his next fight giving him a good beating only to be sparked by a fairly lucky punch. And then he went back to his old timid ways, a real shame.

It would do good numbers, but as a fight it'd be crap. Fury beats him comfortably.

Dunno about that. You don't have to be world class to batter Danny Williams. Remember the clobbering SSS gave him when he went for the European?
Also, Sprott was winning that fight before the ko.

Williams was in the worst shape of his career for that fight and I think Harrison realised that. Wasn't Williams a late replacement for Skelton or something like that?

I though Harrison looked at his best when he was over in America (OK he was fighting the likes of Brian Nix) but the pressure was off him a lot more over there and that seemed to help him.

Not the 2006 U.S version though he was scared to hit Guinn if I remember, my good God that was a bad fight.

I was browsing through Audley's Twitter recently, he says he had plastic surgery to have that egg removed off the top of his skull.

Sprott had been down once and wobbled in the next round. Audley was beating him.

I think that was the point in Harrisions career where it was make or break - those 13 odd minutes where he put it on the line, looked like he was going to do what he had been promising in the HW division. And then sprott ruined it all with a head down rahman punch whilst in a tear up. Harrision then regressed.

I know that Audley was sparked out in a sparring session a couple of months before he fought at the Newcastle Arena, which probably contributed to his reluctance to fight. He seemed to lose his confidence in throwing combinations shortly after turning pro.
