Just looking through the boxing schedule and to my amazement i saw theres a pro boxing show at clifton leisure center on oct 11 promoted by jimmy gill , now the reason im so surprised is that clifton leisure center is a 10 minutte walk from me , boxing is never on so close , not even amateur , buzzing its on and as yet Barrington Brown is the only confirmed fighter but im curious about Jimmy Gill , ive heard his name previously as i think being Jason Booths manager but thats all , i know nothing more about him , and a quick google search came up with nothing further , anyone know any info .

Jimmy Gills been in the game 4ever! To be fair tho he's always flown under the radar- proper old skool, had a couple of wins against 1 of his kids a long time ago!!

How have you missed Jimmy Gill if your on the fight scene in Nottingham? The guy has to be one of the most knowledgeable and connected guys in the city, if not the most.

Yeah ive met him a couple times. He is Booths manager and match maker for Maloney

Always give's me work on the circuit top fella.

He a good guy knows the boxing world inside out and keep me in my place keep up the good work Mr Gill

many moons ago, when Frank signed up Lennox , the 1st thing he did was take Lennox up to Jimmys dinner show in Nottingham as a guest, that shows how much Mr Maloney respects Jimmy!!!.
