After a brief conversation with Motherwell's Barry Morrison tonight it looks like he's very keen to get himself back in the ring as soon as possible. His last outing was nearly a year ago and my impression was that the break has gave him some hunger to get back in the ring and chase after some titles. The ex British Light Welterweight champion is now a free agent and started training with Billy Nelson this week.

He likes to keep himself quiet out of the ring but i'm sure he won't mind me putting his name out there and letting people know he's back in "Bizness". Especially after the forum's showed their powers by getting Jeff Thomas onto Prizefighter! lol

There's definitely some good match up's out there for him.

Is he fighting at welter?

Unsure mate, doesnt look to me as if he would have any trouble makin light welter but dont quote me on it.

Id imagine he would maybe consider offers at either given the right notice but thats me guessing. I believe he uses this so might answer the queation himself???

Nice one. I was gutted when he lost to Daws in the rematch. I thought he was doing pretty well up to that point. I think his corner told him to stay down though?

Was he not due to box up in Aberdeen a month or 2 back on the bill with Lee McAllister and Big Cornish? I may be wrong but thought he was going to be on it. Hope he gets himself back into it. There's good fights out there for him.

I think your right Dougie he was supposed to be on that bill. Think there was even talk of him fighting Lee for the 10st commonwealth belt?

I think mcallister is a fight he would like, surprised billy nelson hasnt been on yet! Lol.

It would be a pretty decent fight. Shouldnt be too hard to make either.

Hes improved 70% after agreeing to joing Billys Gym

good to see him back Morrison seemed to be set up for lots of title Fights under Gilmour
his first fight with Daws he was on Great form.

After a warm up fight or two theres no reason why Barry couldn't fight any LWW in the UK. I think Lee and Barry would be a big fight up here although i cant see it happening
