Estimate £15,000 - £20,000.

Think that Belt will make at least Double thT.............

It seems a slightly odd auction to be in, as its not aimed at a sports targeted auction.

I think it'll make £23000.

I know there lovely belts,but i didnt realise they go for that kind of money..

Im sure This one is Solid Gold, and Gold Prices has hit a high.... Im with you on the newer one's tho, didnt think they'd sell for that much.......

The old ones do, said in another thread that Tancy Lee's went for £19000 , and that was in 2005.

they might melt it down, sadly they do that these days with old stuff.

It is beautiful for me the Lonsdale Belt are one of the most beauiftul trophies in sport in my opinion along with the FA Cup and I hope it finds a good home for something who has a genuine passion and interest for this sport that we all love.

The Price of Gold has Doubled since then and as someone just said it might get melted down :(

The belt ended up going for 36k, I just couldn't keep up with the winner they could have gone on forever... I'm gutted

Bloody hell, thats some price for the belt. Whoever brought it really wanted it.

Yeah, unlucky mate - but the good news is it's not getting melted down at that rate surely
