How did Pacman struggle with Floyd exactly?King Geedorah wrote:Funny how Floyd's ducked Manny by easily defeating two guys, Shane & Marquez, that Paccers struggled with.
I'll give you Marquez but Manny absolutely battered Shane.King Geedorah wrote:Funny how Floyd's ducked Manny by easily defeating two guys, Shane & Marquez, that Paccers struggled with.

IMO Pac wasnt trying very hard against Mosley, he wasnt struggling he just wasnt bothered about giving him a beating.King Geedorah wrote:Well, he's had a hell of a time getting a contract signed if that counts!jamesmcdonnell wrote:How did Pacman struggle with Floyd exactly?King Geedorah wrote:Funny how Floyd's ducked Manny by easily defeating two guys, Shane & Marquez, that Paccers struggled with.
I think he looked less impressive than Floyd did against the same opponent. Floyd took a solid right hand & adjusted immediately. Shane basically used a little bit of footwork & negation tactics against Manny & made him look foolish at times. Floyd's was a far better performance, especially given that they clearly brought Shane in to KO him & make some kind of a point. The point wasn't made.banjo wrote:I'll give you Marquez but Manny absolutely battered Shane.King Geedorah wrote:Funny how Floyd's ducked Manny by easily defeating two guys, Shane & Marquez, that Paccers struggled with.
It looked more to me like pac got caught up in mosleys hippy lets touch gloves and be friends tactic and didnt have the desire to hurt him. When he did tep up the gears every now and again he clearly outclassed mosley.King Geedorah wrote:That is just as bad. Mayweather isn't prone to these lapses. It also looked to me that Manny was pushing for the stoppage at points but couldn't get it going. As I say, Floyd's display was much better, and this is because he's the superior fighter.kingfinn wrote:IMO Pac wasnt trying very hard against Mosley, he wasnt struggling he just wasnt bothered about giving him a beating.King Geedorah wrote: Well, he's had a hell of a time getting a contract signed if that counts!

How stupid is he? Does he actually do his own tweeting?G0mez wrote:Khan is now tweeting that Maidana paid Guerrero money to drop out of the fight, so he can try to challenge Amir again.
I don't think he used to but I'm pretty sure he does now. He's in Saudi Arabia & has been putting up pictures etc.leforge wrote:How stupid is he? Maybe if Mayweather had your confidence in that outcome we'd have seen the bleedin' fight by now.danfoster wrote: Totally agree - i think Mayweather beats Pacman with a surprisingly wide UD
Khan has had 3 fights in the US, he's still trying to make his name there. He's ten years younger than Mayweather. What prick would actually assign the same criteria to Khan's opponents as Mayweather's?Superheavy wrote:He's criticised FMJ for his choice of opponent, yet in the same breath said that a fight with Morales would be good for him b/c he sells a lot of tickets!

Tell me you are joking? PacMan dropped him and he wanted to quite Floyd didnt come near to this.King Geedorah wrote:Fair enough, I don’t see it as pointless as Floyd clearly put in the better performance against the guy but it is by the by & you chipped in so I assumed you had a burning desire to talk up Manny's performance. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Hatton was stopped by Cortez against Floyd, whereas he was knocked out cold against Manny. The results are a TKO for Floyd and a KO for Manny, some would argue knocking him out cold in the second is better than dominating him for ten rounds and having the ref step in. It seems a pointless argument to me, that was my point.King Geedorah wrote: You stated it as if it were fact. You should have said, ‘In my opinion…’, otherwise how else is it to be taken? Ditto for ‘it's like me claiming Manny's win over Hatton is better because he knocked him out and Floyd didn't’, this may have some personal meaning for you but I just see someone claiming that one guy didn’t knock Hatton out when the other one did when the reality is that they both KO’d him.

Marquez was waaaaaaaaaaaay out of his division fat and slow.
Shane got owned by PacMan.
Shane nearly chinned Mayweather and Pacman abused shane in a way that Mayweather couldnt.
Hey King Geedorah you usualy are a good poster, why did you write this when it doesnt make common for sense?
Floyd did a much better job against Shane, as I’ve said more than once, and no one who has posted on this thread has been able to argue otherwise because the two fights don't support this argument.
I wasnt talking about ONE shot from Mosley, I'm talking about two shots, the 2nd of which nearly dropped him, I feel the Mosely of the first Delahoya would have stopped Mayweather on that night.King Geedorah wrote:According to your earlier post a clean shot that causes a pause is akin to almost chinning a guy, Floyd landed lots of these so by your own standards almost KO'd Shane also & landed some sweet body shots.Jon Saxon wrote:Tell me you are joking? I thnk PacMan could have Ko'ed him If he opened up on him anytime from the knockdown onward but Shane started a love in.
I'm sure everyone on here would agree this, no?
Simply highlighting Manny's knockdown isn't sign that it was a more dominant performance & begs the question of why Manny didn't finish it against a pedestrian Mosley who lost his desire early.
Watch the fights again, compare 9 through 12 & & don't call for other posters to pile in & back up what you think as it makes you look like you have doubts over your own opinion, state why you know it to be true & back it up with a decent analysis of the fights rather than the uneven stabs you've shown so far.

Khan didn't have a lot upstairs to start with and all the shots to the head 'aint helpin' none
I'm afraid the boy is sounding more an' more like a category A 'tard.
It's a shame really 'cause he is talented in the ring
Maybe he needs some Pavlov type conditioning where-by he goes mute whenever a microphone
is shoved under his nose.
Hatton wobbled Pacquiao? For the life of me I can't remember that but I do remember Floyd copping a good un' off Mosley and no way did Ricky connect like that on PacquioTrojans44 wrote:The second round of pbf and mosley is being hyped to a ridiculous level. To suggest mayweather was almost koed is utter bollocks. He recovered his composure almost immediately and was in control towards the end of the round. Hatton wobbled pacqiauo but no-one mentions that. The only reason that moment receives so much attention is because its so unusual for Floyd to get landed on.
If they ever fight the equation is quite simple for me; if morales and marquez can outbox pacman then mayweather will decimate him. I really don't even think the fight will be remotely competitive. After the fight a whole host of wankers will come on here and post that many was a blown up flyweight!
I don't see anyone between 135 and 160 that stands a chance v mayweather and I just wish he'd get it together fight three times a year for the next three years and retire having beaten marciano's record and as one the greatest ever. Can anyone really argue that this isn't possible?
Some people don't listen, I said "nearly dropped" him which he NEARLY did, if it had been a young shane he would have puched the shit right out of his crass mouth.Trojans44 wrote:The second round of pbf and mosley is being hyped to a ridiculous level.
