All I know of the bloke is that he is from Notts and was serving in the Army when he turned pro - a very unusual move on the part of the Army, so I expected alot from him. His career never really took off, however.

A former soldier, he is orthodox, tough and brave, but the British Masters and Midlands Area titles he holds probably suggest his level. There was talk of him fighting Wayne Alexander on February 7 at York Hall, but you obviously know the very latest, Knockout.

Matt Scriven was the guy chosen for David Matthews in "Looking For A Fight".

Never seen him fight personally.
