Anybody seen this documentary about a feued between Irish travellers, resulting in a number of bare knuckle fights?

I watched it last night and it was an interesting film. It`s difficult to relate to their mindset though, as they operate by a different set of rules to the rest of us. Some great characters in it though.

They've been showing it on Sky Box Office. I enjoyed it, must say. Curious sense of fair play shown, not what I was expecting

I saw it the other night. It was ok, only a few knuckle fights but nothing flas, its ok to watch once, just like that gypsy wedding thing but with a few bare knuckle fights which I thought was going to be something special but not.

Cheers for the tip-off on this pal. I watched it online yesterday, i love fly-on-the-wall documentaries about fighting. It was a decent watch.

It doesnt need to be downloaded. I found a few sites (through a google search) that were streaming it.

is it just me or hasnt every other bareknuckle fighter "never been defeated"? wot, not even once? Thats cos u never fight outside ur own campsite then.

Watch it online this afternoon ..... enjoyed it.

Love their 'fight fair' attitude and spotted that bloke in the big brother house towards the end.

No its a well known fact James was never beat in a fair fight...well not by is own kind he hasnt ,thought i might let you all know that hes planning on fighting Bobby Gunn in the states bare knuckle at a casino !

Oh, I'm sure you're right - both about the unbeaten fella and plenty of house dwellers talking shite too.

All I'm saying is that there are a lot of supposed 'never lost a fight in my life' travellers walking around.

Oh i agree mate there are some right bull sh1ters amongst us ,But if your in the know and know James Quinn Mcdonagh you would know what type of man he is ...he beat and fought men ten year younger than him ...proper fighting man is the Mighty Quinn !

In the film you can see him doing a bit of pad work and he has a very decent left jab, thats for certain! Reference was also made to a board on the wall of a gym where I think it was showing that he had been some sort of amateur boxing champion in Ireland in 1984.
