Romours are rife in Poland that the new stadium in Wroclaw, which is being built for the Euro 2012 Championships and is to stage the Klitschko v Adamek fight for its grand opening on September 11th, is not going to be ready in time. There is now serious talks underway about moving the fight to Berlin, Germany, but is that even feasible at such short notice. This is a massive fight, almost all tickets have been sold at the 50000 seater stadium in Wroclaw. It has taken around 3 months to shift that volume of tickets, so moving it to Germany at such short notice will never get close to selling that volume and will surely see both fighters having to take a major pay cut as a result. Would either want that?

If the stadium really is not going to be ready in time, then i think this fight is likely to be called off and rescheduled for another day. Thats a real shame, i know most are not giving Adamek much of a chance, i personally see it 80% to 20% in Klitscko's favour, but that 20% chance i am giving to Adamek is more than i have given to any other of Vitali's oponents since he fought Lewis back in 2003. Adamek is in great form, he is a true warrior that comes to fight and certainlhy wont go out like Haye. He does have a shit defence but then he has a great chin to compensate that. He has a very high work rate and can fight at a high pace from the first round through to the last. He has a chance, however slim, but thats a helluva lot more than i can say about most of Klit's other oponents!

I've been looking forward to this fight and have my fingers crossed they'll get that stadium ready in time. I'll post more info if i here anything.

It may be put forward to Sep 24.

That's a bit disappointing, I don't think that will seriously affect either boxer.
