Just have a look at Box Rec's British Light Middleweight Division. Some good fighters and over the next 3 months some juicey domestic dust ups. Toms v O'mera Ochieng v Rose. Can't wait to see how the Top ten will look like in 5 months time

Costello drew with Noble. No disrespect to Lee because he is strong, but Lee has a very slow work rate. For me Ochieng,Selkirk and Cox to be at the top to fight for the British Belt. It's all very interesting.

It's a good division for sure but a few years back(2002/2003) there was still Rhodes plus Anthony Farnell, Takaloo, Wayne Alexander, Richard Williams, Steve Roberts, Gary Lockett, Jamie Moore, Shogun Logan, Andrew Facey, Paul Samuels, Adrian Stone and Michael Jones. It was really a fantastic division. Yet so many of these fighters never fought each other.
Edit: A lot of these guys were arguably good to enough to be world title challengers. Takaloo went 12 with the very good Daniel Santos, Alexander gave a good account account of himself at late notice against Harry Simon and Williams and Stone went 12 with Sergio Martinez. Moore at his best could have fought for a world title IMO but he was plagued by injury setbacks and by the time he was near a world title shot he was dead at the weight and most likely all the wars, injuries and lay-offs had caught up with him.

Very good division.
I think Ryan rhodes still has a few fights left and is some one to be avoided by the young turks as he still has more than enough to beat anybody domestically.
Prince Arron just is too big to be a light mid but he makes the weight and uses that size to his fullest advantage.Think he may be middle soon as hes only around 23.
Sam Webb wondering what that grueling defeat by Arron may take out of him but busy very tough and bags of skill.
Bradley Pryce is not the spent force some people beleive he is and the link up with Gary lockett will get a few more years and performances out of him i think.
Out of the guys mentioned already Selkirk and Cox are the pick of the bunch for me. Selkirk very good can whack and big for weight wonder if injuries will hold him back. JAmie Cox big talent realy can hit takes a good crack and if he keeps improoving and calms his aggresive style down a little will be champ.
Erik Ochieng seen him couple of times very solid and looks to be improving every time.
Brian Rose has come back well from defeat and has good skills and tight guard but will his chin hold up with scare vs salari and loss vs maxwell?
Matty Hall is on comeback trail and is a handful and can take anybody out on his day.
Ryan thoms nice skills can hit a little but for me a bit too hittable to get to the top.
Tom Costello has not shown his best publically yet and will surprise a lot of people when he shows what hes capable of,I beleive that will come as middleweight as young and maturing.
Max Maxwell tough hits hard and has learnt his trade fighting top ten up and down the country.Still fresh and looking to spring more upsets.
Omeara nice boxer but afraid for me hes not going to live up to the hype.
Bit of a dark horse but Jez wilson is a bit of a beast and will cause a few upsets before hes finished.
Kris Carslaw dont think he will beat Arron nice style and can hit but bit muscle bound anda few observers in scotland including current pro craig windsor had d mitchell beating him in his last fight.

Talkischeap wrote:Lee Noble was the first to tell Thomas that it was no draw and that Thomas won that fight, We had to swallow the decision. Like i said Thomas is very young lots of time on his side and is getting better and stronger all the time. Lee Noble will give the best of them trouble at 11st on his day, he was involved in
two very debateable decisions with Brian Rose. I agree Jamie Cox gonna rip it up and thats not me being biased

Yeh alright then........

Who is Arron currently lined up 2 fight if anyone?
He was at Carslaw's last fight in the kelvin hall and i believe they both share the same promoter.
Relatively easy nights work for arron in my opinion of they meet up!
Too much of a size difference, good big guy beats a good little guy n all that.

Indeed. I think Tommy Gilmour manages both probably promotes them too. The Light middle division is looking good at the moment. Alot of them are still novices but some good match ups out there.
