Andy Lee seems a bit low to me..I would have thought he would be maybe 10 to 15 somewhere.

What persuaded you to swap over Hatton and Olafabi ?

Darren Barker, Kell Brook and Ryan Rhodes should all be above Matthew Hatton for me. Rhodes had a much better outing against Alvarez in my opinion despite the result coming inside the 12.

really? i thought rhodes was shocking against alvarez and hatton had the more success (even though he lost every round)

Just wondering Horse, has there ever been a month where you haven't changed the rankings at all?

I'm not sure how that Hatton win results in a move up the rankings.

Based on the positions of john murray and darren barker in the list. Id put Lee at around the same level.

Lee would be higher if he had been fighting the same level of opposition last year that he has been fighting this year. His opponents in 2010 were poor, which was strange considering that he entered that year coming off his best win to that date after he beat Belghecham in late 2009.

Lee rematches Vera in October, if he wins that then he will probably enter the 10-15 section of the rankings.

Mitchell beat Murray who was top 10 at the time, so I thought a top 10 ranking would be okay for Mitchell considering the nature of his win. Munroe had been fairly inactive and unimpressive since his loss to Nishioka last year, so I thought Mitchell should move ahead of him, but no higher because of his 14 months of inactivity before the Murray win.

Hatton beat Abramenka, so I moved him up a place.

As usual it's more hype than substance but I admire the enthusiasm

I thought Hatton did better against Alvarez than Rhodes did.

Barker has had one fight in the last 16 months, so I don't think he should be too high up the rankings at the moment. If Barker does well against Martinez in October then he can climb a few places.

If Brook beats Jackiewicz next month then he will probably overtake Hatton. At the moment I think Hatton has done more to deserve a higher ranking.

No, not yet.

It was a one place move up the rankings, overtaking Afolabi who had moved up 6 places the previous month for beating Dunstan.

Hatton's win wasn't great, but it was an okay win against an unbeaten fighter, so I felt it was enough to move him up a bit.

Barker is the biggest hype job in British boxing. I am genuinely gutted that he is taking the Martinez fight because I would have loved to see Lee or Macklin expose him first. Now its going to be "he was never the same fighter after Martinez"

Nah, actually you are blinkered and you've not into the hype.

He is no way as bad as some of here (including you and Bennie) try to make out.
