battle of the journeymen

There's an interesting fight next Thursday in Leeds, with me against youssef al hamidi. With all the talk a few months ago about a journeyman prizefighter, a few picked me & him in the final. It's one I really want to win & I guarantee no gimmicks or messing. I'm sure he won't want me to win too so, he's a good lad , so I hope this one is a good un! Got peter mcdonnagh on the 30th too so I hope I can raise my game.

tommy , I'll.hold up.my hands if I get beat. No prob , this is one I will be going for. He is a good little fighter, no question. I can't see him comprehensively outpointing me. I'm sure he won't want me beating him & I think he's mind will be on winning too. Let's see. He's no 20 year old flash, I will land . If I lose, like you said , fair play

Excellent fight between two well matched men. Who gives a fcuk that they aren't unbeaten or going for a strap? More of the same, please.

It's definitely interesting . It's really whetted my appetite, its been a while since I really looked forward to a fight. To go in & make it easy , will not be on my mind. That ain't giving it the big un. He's a quality journeyman , this is a big fight for me.

Good luck Johnny.

Can someone put this on youtube when it happens?

Would be good to see 2 quality well matched, motivated journeymen go at it.

you didn't hear? Johnny's doing the fighting and the comedy after... vile rumours he's doing a rigged raffle too.

Matt, nothing is rigged mate. You could get me in trouble saying that. One time I went in to move a boy about & ended up winning. I've boxed my heart out on every occasion. Scoring has been a bit shite in many but I don't go in to lose. I'll be very disappointed if I don't nick this one. I genuinely believe I'm top dog in the journeyman stakes. My comedy is ok though.

Johnny I dont think he was having a dig I think most of us on here will have seen you live & seen the decisions go against you.

I for one have posted on here after seeing you got stopped quite bizarrely in Huddersfield against Tyrone Nurse.

I can probably make Leeds next Thursday. Now where do i buy the Johnny Greaves T shirt???
