Would be ugly heard wood made 20 tackles and 5 hit ups last fight.

No disrespect to Woods but he really is a novice he is a terrible boxer lot to learn.

I still question the Mundine 1st fight my close sources predicted the result.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i dont think either of these guys can give geale the sort of fight that he needs to prepare for martinez. Though i like soliman, he is finished at the top and has already been done by mundine. And wood, well he has no buiness fighting in a title eliminator, he beat the fossil of mundine, who cares. Geale needs to fight some real top ten middleweights if he is planning on fighting sergio

I dont think this will be an eliminator . Sam v another opponent may be though.
Sam is awkward for anyone.
he was belted once by Mundine at a weight that simply doesnt suit him and was Mundines prime weight (at the time). sam is still a very dangerous middleweight, for anyone including Geale.

Neither of these guys would test Geale I was just sharing a rumour i heard. I Agree that Wood should not be considered for an eliminator but in February of this year he was rated at NUMBER 12 by the IBF @ super middle and Soliman is in the top 10 @ Middle so it is indeed possible that Garth could pop up in the IBF ratings again and it could happen. Soliman would give Geale some rounds and the fight would sell in Australia and keep Geale busy until he lands a money fight in the STates!!

Who's the club fighter??

Sam vs Geale wouldn't sell in Australia, and i don't know why anyone would think that?

However it would be a good fight and very close, Sam has the ability to hit people that don't get hit, he's just not fan friendly and people still remember the fights with Mundine as stinkers. I really hope he has a couple of fights soon as his career has gone absolutely no where in the last 3 years, he's virtually fallen of the planet......do something FFS Sam.

Lol not them two hound.

Actually Sam throws slot of punches from all angles but he hasn't got knock out punch to finish.

Punches in bunches Sammy I love him one of my favourites love Sammy.

Timing is everything in boxing Mundine should of chased Bayer when Greeny lost to him.

And it's too late for Sammy to fight Gealy.

Gealy is on the way up & unfortunately we all get old & Sam has had a wonderful career.

i remember the second fight as an absoute ass whoping. And maybe the best single performance off Anthonys career. Your right though, geale v soliman may well sell. But every man and his dog knows there is only one possible winner in that fight. There is no way soliman outworks or knocksout geale. So Whats the point?

Sam has not fought in 12 months. Is he planning to continue fighting or is he hanging the gloves up?

Spoke to Sam last night, he is still fighting. He ha had fight after fight fall through on him in the past twelve months, he jokingly said he may have to take up ping pong to get regular competition.

Thats absurd! Geale just basicaly pitched a shutout over Albert and he then gets put in an elimination fight? Rubbish. Geale should fight pirog if the offer is legit.

Latest IBF ratings have Barker as no 1 Middleweight contender. After the Martinez fight this should change.
