I'd like to hear what Prescott has to say about being on the wrong end of a poor desicion. Is he in part 2 or 3?slapbangwhallop wrote:P1/3 others will be uploaded on the channel in the next few hours

The decision didn't seem that bad to me.yid14 wrote:I'd like to hear what Prescott has to say about being on the wrong end of a poor desicion. Is he in part 2 or 3?slapbangwhallop wrote:P1/3 others will be uploaded on the channel in the next few hours

That's your view. I had it to Prescott big time. Crowd won it for McCloskey, cheering punches that didn't land.slapbangwhallop wrote:He never showed up.yid14 wrote:I'd like to hear what Prescott has to say about being on the wrong end of a poor desicion. The decision wasnt poor. It was a close fight that could have gone either way.
How did you score it? i had prescott by one round he was clearly loosing the entire last 3rd of the fight.gobbles wrote:That's your view. I had it to Prescott big time. Precott landed all the best punches in the fight, badly rocked him midway through, had him out on his feet in the last and controlled much of it with his jab.

I think you're well out on those scores mate.gobbles wrote:kingfinn wrote:How did you score it? i had prescott by one round he was clearly loosing the entire last 3rd of the fight.gobbles wrote: That's your view. I disagree with that view. I thought Prescott won the tenth, but he won the twelfth by a massive margin.
I had it 116-111 to Prescott.
I gave McCloskey either the third or fourth, plus 8, 9 and 11.
I think you're well out if you disagree. What was your round to round?kingfinn wrote:I think you're well out on those scores mate.gobbles wrote:kingfinn wrote: How did you score it? i had prescott by one round he was clearly loosing the entire last 3rd of the fight.

5 rounds to mccloskey 1 drawn and didnt count the knockdown which lets face it was at hit with prescotts bicep while dudey was off balance.gobbles wrote:I think you're well out if you disagree. What was your round to round?kingfinn wrote:I think you're well out on those scores mate.gobbles wrote:

What shocked me most was the way McCrory lost the plot.
You HAVE to count the knockdown.kingfinn wrote:5 rounds to mccloskey 1 drawn and didnt count the knockdown which lets face it was at hit with prescotts bicep while dudey was off balance.gobbles wrote:I think you're well out if you disagree. No you dont David.DavidPayne wrote:

Simple.
I had Prescott by a narrow margin. Not the worst I've seen. It was close but there was only one winner from my clear view from the Sofa.

I actually thought they were going to announce a draw at the time.Crease wrote:My mate went to the fight and he scored 2 rounds to Prescott.
And he said to me that practically everyone thought Prescott had won 6 rounds (so without any knockdowns McCloskey could only have drawn the fight).
No you dont mate. Its judges discretion.DavidPayne wrote:You HAVE to count the knockdown.kingfinn wrote:5 rounds to mccloskey 1 drawn and didnt count the knockdown which lets face it was at hit with prescotts bicep while dudey was off balance.gobbles wrote: I think you're well out if you disagree. Completely agree and I've said it elsewhere - what on earth was McCrory doing?gobbles wrote:Trojans44 wrote:Saying Presscott won the 12th massively is ludicrous.
I don't see how anyone could give the last to McCloskey, or even score it level, without being swayed by the crowd, the hometown commentary. or a general bias. Tutn the sound off and watch the effects of the punches. Had it been McCloskey landing those punches at the end, the commentators would have been screaming that he was on the verge of stopping him.
Yes, you've said it elsewhere and it was wrong there too.slapbangwhallop wrote:No you dont David.DavidPayne wrote:

If as a judge you think you have a better vantage point than the referee and feel it was not a legitimate KD then you dont have to score it.
Dear oh dear...slapbangwhallop wrote:I seem to remember you went whining to and got me a warning here when I replied to you with an innocuous comment so it nice to see that you are proving yourself hypocritical!
Anyway, that aside, you are talkin out of an orifice other than your gob because I spoke to an A* referee about this very subject on the night!
Carry on!
Yeah, could be that mate. The Dark Destroyer wrote:It's British rules to score the KD isn't it? Is the trouble that this is was a WBA title eliminator?
Well its fun that I get a yellow card if I politely disagree with you on here! Get my point?Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Dear oh dear...slapbangwhallop wrote:I seem to remember you went whining to and got me a warning here when I replied to you with an innocuous comment so it nice to see that you are proving yourself hypocritical!

I'm simply disagreeing with you on a matter of fact. Should be easy enough to resolve. I'll even keep it polite too!
Give me a bit of time. Maybe I'm on shaky ground now given your research!
If you're right, you're right and I'll let everyone know.
