Have followed Nicki's career since he was connected with Amir Khan many moons ago..................

I know that Nicki's career has been stop / start due to injuries etc, but i was hoping that Nicki would be fighting on a fairly regular basis by now and possibly going for some titles ? Does anyone know where Nicki is at right now with his career ?

Nicki will be. Defenetly boxing on the 29th of october, and after his next fight we hope it will be some sort of titlle fight, Tickets are now avaialable. At £30 or £55 ringside tables inc food,pm me for tickets.
He was down to box 3rd september but his cousin got 16yeaars prison for 1 punch but they are more like brothers having lived together all their lives so it did affect him sittting through a 2 week trial

Chris mate - the incident was terrible all round. It might have been '16 years prison for 1 punch' but he killed the lad. Don't really want to get into it here but that shouldn't slide.

Ian just goin on Brad situation, if they give everyone 16 years for killing someone with 1 punch fair enough but they don't ie luke jolly 4yr 9 months louis vietch 6 years and in bradleys case it was bbc hooligans who had bottles in their hands,we have cctv footage which will show the ttruth and we are willing to post a copy to anyone with doubts manslaughter was the right verdict at the most, but back to nicki,we hope the same as u

Says the lad hit this fella who he killed from behind (scummy thing to do) and he'd already attacked 2 other people, so hardly sweet and innocent.

Very harsh sentence mind but you dont do the crime if you cant do the time.

he just didn't go behind him and hit him,the kid provoked hiim and had a bottle in his hand,on cctv u can see him trying to hit the bottle on a carto break is and as it didn't he ran after him and hit him, you could also see him pull the bottle out when exiting the club with 4 other bbc members,all on cctv which is available because we want ppeople to see the truth, thhe sentence is diabolical,

16 years seems extreme for this

could see point if the was jumping over the guys head or something
also Police confirm the guy was a member of a hooligan gang

Dont know the full background of the guys but just shows you these things can happen if your in a scuffle in the streets,

Hooligan "gang" more like he probably used to go for a drink before n after footy matches, pose about a bit in a stone island jumper and occasionally shout come on then at opposing fans.

Dosn't deserve to die does he?

And by the sounds of it Smedley's cousin was in an aggressive mood, atatcking another 2 people beforehand.

Gives boxing a bad name associating this street thug with the sport - makes it look like all boxers are violent thugs.

Didnt you once post there was a big photo of you in a hooligan book?!

Had to post this, 2 weeks ago a lad got 14 year for a dare murder and for a breakfast only got 14 year!! Bradley is a quiet lad and wouldnt start a fight for nothing

People get less for stabbing someone to death!!!
Back to the subject,hopefully Nicki is busy this season&comes on leaps&bounds,no shame losing to Nigel Wright

Not saying his sentence isn't harsh it really is.

Just saying he was still in the wrong and he's still taken another mans life. And still left 2 kids without a dad.

So forgive me if I dont lose any sleep over him over the next 16 years

Please could we concentrate on the boxing side of things? Thank you. :)

cheers quix the less said the better especially reading newspapers,the only truth is the date on them,as for nicki he would love too fight wright again knowing what he knows now. But that's a long shot now so he will fight whoever they get,as for moyo he didn't want to even do that fight the matchmaker came with that the night before so it were that or nowt and he had. Done loads of. Tickets
